This is a nice entry-level computer, but it freezes a lot.

I purchased this on Black Friday and it does not work. Right out of the box, I plugged it in and waited for the light to tell me that it was fully charged. I tried turning it on and nothing comes up on the screen. The little light on the side turns blue like it's on, but the screen remains black.

I purchased this chrome book for our 16 y/o son for school use. Sadly, google made a way so that we can’t install Covenant Eyes or any parental guidance for accountability purpose, and for him to safely surf the internet without running into inappropriate contents.

Entry level chromebook with end of life in 2021. Slow.

We really liked our chromebook at the beginning, but the charge started not lasting very long. We had to keep the laptop connected all the time for it not to turn off. Unfortunately, we had to upgrade.

Bought it for my 7 year old as a beginner laptop. It did not meet the demands as she wanted to do more. Even as a budget laptop I’d say just save a bit more and get something better.

I guess you get what you pay for but I’d hoped the Samsung name might mean something. Got this for my son as a birthday gift. Only worked for three days before the monitor stopped working properly. Don’t buy!

Now I wasnt expecting fast speeds on this thing, but even after I lowered my expectations this thing still brought them even lower, couldnt believe how slow this thing was.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and it quit working two months ago! So disappointed! She wanted to use for school and now have to go buy one elsewhere.

Bought this as a Christmas present for myself , just now got around to opening it up , charged it up and ........WOULD NOT POWER ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It really isn’t for me due to you have to have extensions added on to open certain flies and it doesn’t support windows ten or 8

I have a laptop and tablets from Fire to Ipad. I wasn't happy with the tablets but didn't want another laptop. I was looking around and this item caught my attention. It is very light and boots up much quicker than the tablet. The performance for my uses is good mostly surfing, a game solitare or other similar game. The sound is also pretty good. There are differences between my laptop and Ipad but it does what I need. The biggest thing I had to get used to was the loss of the touch screen. I wanted a scroll bar that easier to see and found an extension on the Web Store. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase and buying on sale made it even better

The Samsung 3 Chromebook with 4gb of RAM memory and 32gb of storage is a HUGE upgrade from those chromebooks which have only 2gb of RAM and 16 gb of storage, Chromebooks were intended to be very simple and reliable so that you could hand it to a 5th grader or to your 95 year old grandmother, and both of them will find it easy to use. Remember: a chromebook is NOT a Windows computer. It can NOT use standard Microsoft Office and other programs designed for Windows software. A chromebook is intended for use with Google apps, such as Google docs, and Google apps really only work well when you are connected to the internet. Printing from a chromebook with a standard printer? Some people say it can be done, but most folks find it impossible. What is needed is printer designed especially for chromebooks.
