sometimes it doesn't respond but only last seconds

I exchanged this Samsung for another Chromebook by another Mfr. (This was not my first Chromebook, my first one just aged out). The major issue is the flimsy case. There is so much flex that the track pad self triggers or is inoperable depending on the position/surface of the unit. Working on one's lap is impossible. Other keys are affected, too. Either hypersensitive or inoperable until the case is moved, flexed. Not worth intense aggravation when I've been so happy with Chromebook in the past (and the Lenovo I exchanged it for is 'so far, so good'!)

This device keeps shutting down. I've lost numerous days of work. I took it to Geek Squad for repair last week, after waiting 4 days for an appointment (4 days without a device), of course, it would work when I arrived. The rep didn't do anything once it powered on but say it works. He didn't evaluate it further-simply gave it back to me- 4 days later I'm having the same problem. I had to result to using my son's expired Acer chrome to write this review. I never had any issues with his $200 Acer .

I HATE this thing. It is not user friendly. I would not let my 9 year old son even try it for school. We did his meet the teacher "Covid style" today and this thing STRUGGLED with turning on & off the microphone. Scroll bars, ok buttons, mute buttons....Nothing is obvious or easy and takes multiple interactions with the keyboard to get the buttons you need to activate/inactivate things and was bouncing us in and out of the meeting rather than simply muting & unmuting. I am RETURNING this thing...i would rather use my phone than this piece of junk but this was literally the only chromebook available at any store near me for 250 miles. NO THANK YOU!

Made an appointment to meet with an agent and specifically told them that I had an Epson V39 Perfection Scanner and I was looking for an inexpensive computer to support the scanning and emailing of pictures . . . Get the Samsung Chromebook home and spend a couple of hours getting it set up with email and WiFi . . . Only to find out there aren’t any Chromebook Drivers for this scanner ! ! ! Now a special trip back to return and try to find another . . . Huge waste of time when I as VERY specific about what I needed . . . :(

Seriously DON'T. Physically, it's a a luxurious looking conputer amd I enjoy the layout... HOWEVER I bought this thinking it ran on Windows. It does not. Instead it's basically a knockoff Macbook. NO PROGRAMS ARE COMPATIBLE. Instead you have an extremely limited number of "Apps" you can choose from like an Android phone. It's basically useless for anything other than streaming online. Also the screen is horrible and the volume is SO LOW. Don't make the same mistake I did. I feel like I basically have to buy ANOTHER laptop.

This chromebook has a horrible display. Unless you have the screen tilted just right, the display gets distorted.

The screen is not really good quality. Kind of blurry and the platforms are small. Not really satisfied but it’s past the return date.

I bought this as a gift for my Mother. Although I bought it about a month ago on sale, she's had it two weeks and it keeps shutting down for no reason. I tried the diagnostics, resetting the computer to factory settings and it is still doing it. SO frustrating. Now I'll have to spend half a day on the phone with Samsung because Best Buy doesn't take returns after 30 days. UGH!

I hate this laptop, it’s awful for college students or people who writes lots of papers. It’s very difficult to use the Google Docs feature and Microsoft word isn’t compatible with this laptop. Every time I write a paper it gives me hell trying to save it and upload it to my professors. Don’t buy this thing unless you’re strictly only going to use the internet. To make matters worse Bestbuy only allows 15 days to return or exchange!

Very unhappy with this chromebook. The screen is washed out and it seems to struggle opening certain web pages. This is not a good soultion for an adult college student. It may work for a small child to do work on.

Not a fan of this laptop pay the extra money and get yourself an iPad. This laptop is super slow don’t waste your money.

Nice big screen, I like the quick startup and shut down. Worked great for managing my small business and doing taxes, etc.

Has bad resolution problems with some programs like chrome.

At first worked great but less than a month later it started having audio issues and would shut down and not turn back on for days at a time. Had to take to geek squad 3 times in a week span before I finally was able to exchange it.

Chromebook sucks.....you can't use most software unless a Google Play store app exists and those aren't full function. I can't even use all of functionality of my printer. It prints but I can't use the photo print option. This is just a jumped up tablet not a full functioning laptop. It was cheap enough so I replaced it and the donated the chromebook to a kid.

I HAD TO EXCHANGE THE 1ST ONE I PURCHASE BECAUSE THE MOUSE PAD DID NOT WORK AT ALL. OTHER THAN THAT IT'S A NICE COMPUTER.

Nothing really special about this product. Its an over sized tablet with a key board and a lack luster display.
