My father needed a new computer and I was able to finally convince him that a Chromebook would be best suited for his needs and so far so good, he has not called me for any IT services. As for the Chromebook it's nice big and overall a good value for the price. The only gripe I have with it is the viewing angle which is not so good. This can easily be overcome by just using an external monintor. No problem with wifi connection and fast enough for his browsing, email, online shopping, bill pay etc.. that he mostly use.

My 8-year old needed a virtual device for his virtual learning and this Chromebook has worked out great. This Samsung is a little more sleek than the HP Chromebook we got for his 10-year old brother. They both seem to work equally well. The Samsung has a bigger screen which is nice but it makes it less mobile compared to the HP.

Great performance but the screen does not have a clear view. Only beneficial for class work. Volume could be a bit better as well.

I love Chromebooks and this one does not disappoint. This laptop is very quiet and easy to use. I use this laptop everyday and it exceeds my expectations. Samsung is an outstanding brand. I would highly recommend this item if you are in the market for a laptop!

Bought this for our son to do his online schooling with. The one we borrowed from the school had such a small screen that this was really a great improvement for us. So far we are pleased! Love the auto save feature when working in google drive.

My school district’s loaner chrome books are a joke. Honestly, if my kids are going to be doing school from home, they need a comp that is keeping up and not frustrating to use. This sync perfectly with their school google classroom accounts and is totally painless experience after entering a few passwords.

price was great, on sale. screen nice size for watching videos. keyboard seems a little tight. will have to update review once laptop gets used a little more.

I bought this in place of a Dell computer I bought. This loads much faster and I really like this computer. I had my doubts because it was a Chromebook but I am very satisfied with this product.

My HP Chromebook died and I purchased this Samsung as a replacement. I like the big screen, but do not like the quality of the color on the screen - it appears "foggy/hazy" and does not have crisp, bright colors - disappointing. Because it is a Chromebook it is just like my other one which is one of the best things of Chromebooks, doesn't matter who makes it, when you power up and sign in everything will be there, not like hours of setting up a new computer. It is simple and easy to use. I do not feel it is any faster than my old HP Chromebook and recharging seems slow. It has a sleek appearance similar to a MacBook Air but much, much more affordable. This is a great personal machine. It does not have a touch screen if that is what you are looking for.

I just wanted an easy, small , inexpensive computer for my daily emails, FB, keeping files etc. I do NOT use it for games or anything that takes up a lot of memory Worth the money.l

I had this Samsung Chromebook for about a week and then returned to get a Lenovo C340-15 that was on big sale. Samsung has a good build quality, good keyboard, but the CPU is just adequate for now. I do not know how it will hold up with the OS upgrades for the next couple of years. Also, the screen feels somewhat washed out. For Internet browsing and Netflix it is fine. But still, I would like a more powerful CPU, which I got with Lenovo.
