I have done research for the past 2 months on what laptop to purchase for college this fall. Everything I found was based on personal opinion and not really facts about the brands or types of laptops. I finally decided on this laptop, it is a little slow at times but I also have really bad wifi at home. The screen is very clear but I wish this model was a touch screen. Other than that it has held up and I’m excited to use it for schooling!

Chromebook does what I want without all the extras. Easy to set up for family members who only want to get online and don't need heavy computing.

Decent laptop that has the basics for distance learning, but we were told the microphone quality was not good, and a few months after school started, the camera lens got scratched. Wish we had gotten the warranty since this is mainly used by our 7 year old 2nd grader. The color quality and contrast of the screen are pretty poor and there isn't much we can do about it. I do like how light this is, but that also makes it feel cheap.

I have an 6 year that has to work for home on Google Classroom and it is very familiar to him since it reminds he of an android device great laptop

Excellent machine If you are on the market for a laptop for your middle school kid. Fast enough, decent processing speed, not too expensive.

The chromebook is a bit big for my tastes, but I knew that when I purchased it. The keyboard is fantastic, it is lighter than I expected, and the display is sharp, although a bit dim. For $300, it is a great value.

I needed a computer for my boys to do their schoolwork while school was closed due to COVID-19. It has done everything they needed to do and more.

My wife uses the Chromebook to do her story writing. It doesn't skip around as the older laptop did. Works as advertised. She is happy the product. Keep up the good work

This is a large screen economy model chromebook. I purchased it because I am getting older and I thought the bigger screen would be easier to read. I found that increasing the font size helped viewing web pages, but had absolutely no effect on the font size for the tabs at the top of the screen. I also noticed that while sitting with it on my lap, it was uncomfortable. When you raise the lid. The back side of the lid, where it hinges, drops down lower than the bottom of the chromebook. The sharp edge of the lid didn't feel good at all while wearing short pants with it on my lap. I tried it for one evening and returned it the next day. I was trying to go inexpensive, but looks like I will have to spend more to get what works for me. I'm thankful for Best Buys satisfaction guarantee and how easy it is to return a product to them when it doesn't meet expectations.

I am very happy with my Chromebook. Its portable and easy to use. Nice that I dont have to worry about it getting a virus. All I need as an extra backup to my desktop computer

My 11 year old loves this computer. She was already familiar with how to use a chrome book from school. She really likes the larger screen on this computer and has had no issues playing her games.

We got this computer for my kids' online school. I liked the Google OS and overall ease of setup. But the computer could not handle Zoom when they were virtual conferencing with their class - it was very glitchy, sound could be garbly, and sometimes the video of all the classmates would black out. I read elsewhere this could be a problem with Zoom on Google OS. I eventually had to return the computer for a PC that could handle Zoom.

Outstanding Laptop, picked up at local store. Does everything that one could want, price was more than reasonable. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and answered all. Highly recommended.

I bought two of these, one for each of my kids (10 and 14), so they could complete their schoolwork at the same time and keep everything separate. They both loved them and are working away with no issues.

Bought this for pandemic home schooling. Our now ten year old loves it. East to use. Good graphics and sound. For the price this was perfect.

I bought this for a relative so he could participate in family zoom meetings. It works perfectly and the screen is big and beautiful. He now enjoys using the Chromebook for his other online activities.

I love the sleek lightweight design. I hate that it doesn't have more memory.
