I am very please with my purchase of this computer. Not being a graphic designer or one who needs to run a Windows or Mac operating system in order to do the work I require of a computer, I chose, on the advise of a more well-versed friend, to acquire a Chromebook. Being a writer I have for some time relied on Google docs as my main writing tool when not using pen and paper. I also am a long time user of other Google products, such as gmail and Google Drive. My internet use warrants no more memory than what came with this machine and I am very pleased with my purchase. Other positive I experiences were the extra roughly fifty dollars I saved in purchasing an "open box" product from your store and the ease with which the pick up was arranged during this Covid-19 catastrophe. I will certainly recommend your products and services to all who inquire. Thank you very much indeed.

I bought this to replace my 1st Gen Samsung chromebook that was so old Google stopped supporting it with updates. So why the 3 star rating? The Good: - Price for feature set - Big screen with 1080p resolution - Design and build quality seems solid The Bad: - Image quality doesn't seem any better than my previous model. Given my 1st Gen model was from 2011, that's pretty disappointing. In almost 10 years, you'd think image quality on the screens (even at this price range) would show visible improvements. This one did not. - The main reason I decided to replace my older model now was due to the Wifi dropping out somewhat regularly and having a difficult time connecting/reconnecting. Well, it's not as bad on this unit, but I still have issues connecting from time to time. I'm guessing Samsung really went cheap on some of the internal components, including their Wifi adapter. Given the state of the world and wireless technology, this is unacceptable. I should not have Wifi connection issues on a brand new device in 2020. I do not have these issues on my other Samsung chromebook (or other Wifi devices), but that is the Plus model which retails for much more money and has a smaller (but much better) screen. Anyway, my son is happy with this model since it has the larger 1080p resolution screen that helps with his distance learning schooling. If you're looking for a good chromebook with a higher resolution screen, this is not a bad model to go with, especially at this price point. At this screen size, I'd actually prefer the 1080p resolution over a 720p resolution even if it had better image quality. I'm not sure the Wifi issue is widespread, but my experience is all I can base my review on. I knocked off a star for each of the cons/weaknesses I experienced: Image quality and Wifi. Other than that, I think build quality (fit and finish) is great. The keyboard feels good as well. The last thing I'll note is just in case someone from Samsung reads this and can send suggestions up the chain. Why is the wall plug designed to stick out from the wall almost 4 inches? I've had a few Samsung products that use this idiotic wall plug design. Samsung spends millions of dollars in R&D and you're telling me this is the best they can do? Let me pose a simple question, "If my wall outlet is behind a desk or cabinet, do you think I want to have to pull that furniture about 4" from the wall, or keep it as snug as possible to the wall?". With that question in mind, do you still think a wall plug sticking out 4" from the wall is a good design? If you use this simple question in your design of wall plugs (for any device), I may have just saved you $1 million is R&D. It's frustrating to buy a cool electronic device and find a stupid design aspect as a crucial part of it (the power).

I bought this for my 5th grader. It is fantastic. Love the big screen. She already knows how to use it . It is very user friendly and it linked up to her old tablet to load all her school apps onto the chromebook for me. I was very pleased i didn't have to do much to get it up and running.

The price was the same as a good DVD player, which is more than reasonable. It functions well, speed is good and other then having to get creative about how to use an Epson printer/scanner I have with it, nothing else has been an issue. I love the Samsung brand, all products i purchase from them (including a fridge and this laptop) are well worth the cost. I recommend this Chromebook to anyone who cant get a more expensive device with Windows. Google Docs has pretty much the same features and is easy to use.

We bought this for our 16 year old 11th grader that is distance learning this year. It has been exactly what she needs. It came highly recommended by the salesperson at Best Buy and I can see why! It is light weight, fast, has great camera quality and good speakers. Would buy again!!

I bought it as a gift for my son. It was to replace a Samsung Chromebook that was a gift in 2012. It was easy to start up & seems to be super fast. I may buy another one for myself. It was a good price compared to other stores. I bought it online & picked it up the next day.

I bought my parents this laptop to share and they’re pretty old so the screen size is perfect and the simplicity is great for my parents. Samsung with Chrome is the best of both worlds. I’d recommend buying this for those who do not like complications while using a computer.

With school education moving towards online based learning, this is a must have tool. The Chrome book is relatively expensive for what it can do, especially when you can get a more full featured Win based laptop. However the usage is similar to what the kids are used to at school...so there is that. My kids love it. The screen is big, easy to read, and the typing experience is good. They also appreciate the “MacLike” aesthetics. If your kids are at home, even adults, and need to use something for school. This is the machine to get.

Second Chromebook I've owned, and, while I was impressed with the first one, this one is even better. Thin, light weight and high quality, expensive looking, this Samsung Chromebook is a great value. Easy to set up and performs flawlessly. Really, no complaints to speak of.

Due to covid-19, I needed something portable and inexpensive to take to my counseling office so I could still do therapy with clients who did not feel comfortable coming in person right now for services. I have never provided therapy except face to face. I am not tech savy and this has been a perfect fit for me and my clients to stay connected.I ordered it Mar 23 and it was delivered Mar 25th.I also have used it for Zoom to stay in touch with friends and family.

As it turns out we purchased this for my son as we transitioned to online schooling during the Covid-19 pandemic. Upon receiving this I realized we had obtained a little more than anticipated for a 6 year old. Great quality however a little too big for him to carry once things return to normal. But great for parents to monitor due to the massive screen size.

Good: price, light weight, quality build, high res 1080 screen Bad: sreen is dim, lack of color and poor viewing angle. Works well as a online class machine, not so much for entertainment.

I had to get a laptop for my son for e learning and this computer was perfect! Very quick, easy to use, and plenty of space! I myself even found myself using it for things rather than the stuff I use my phone for! Very happy with my purchase and it was a great deal!

I bought this laptop over 2 years ago. It has been great never had any problems.

Two different family members use it, which is great because it allows for you to have two separate accounts and keep your files separate :) It's relatively light and the screen is big!

I'm very technically challenged but this has proven to be the perfect computer to own. Its quite easy to learn and does all the things I need it to do.Good price too!

Great deal and my 7th grader says this computer is better to work with than a previous one we purchased from Staples. I would highly recommend if you are in need of a laptop that doesn't burn a hole in your pocket, but does the job.

Not a terrible chromebook. The keyboard is great. The screen is okay but you have to angle it just right to get a crisp image. The main issue is the processor is a slug. Page loading is unacceptably slow. It feels like running on a dial up internet. I've owned two other chromebooks and they were not speed demons but fast enough. Would not recommend.

Great product as it is easy to use and serves my needs. Not sold on chromebooks initially but i find this model and screen size to my liking. Does everything i wish to do and exceeded my expectations.
