The worst laptop I ever have. It worked for only 7 months

I hate it. Hard to see. hard to program, hard everything.

Horrible can’t do much nor exchange it !!!!! I’ve wasted my money

I just bought this the other day. Never owned a Chromebook, but for $250 at my local Best Buy and a limited selection avaialble I gave it a shot. VERY glad I did! Faster thatn I expected, easy to use, and if you've never used a Chromebook, basically you just don't have a CD/DVD drive which you can get as an add on if needed. Chromebooks run on the Google operating system Chrome OS, which means that Windows and macOS programs don't work on these devices. However, you can download any apps and programs online and download them so no problem at all. Overall, if you use your laptop at home for general things like most of do (email, online shopping and browsing, ect) then this is COMPLETELY all you need at at great price.

I purchased this Chromebook yesterday. I have been using this product all day yesterday and all night. There are good things and bad things. The build quality of this device is above what you would expect from a Chromebook in this price range. The large boxy look is reminiscent of the old early 15 inch MacBook Pro's. The keyboard is pretty good for the price and there is a large track pad. The port selection is also great, 2 USB C and 1 USB A. USB C charging is a plus as well. The screen/display however is a deal breaker for me, even though it says it's a FHD 1920 x 1080 LED panel. The colors are washed out, and the viewing angles are terrible. When you have the screen on max brightness there is an uncomfortable white glow that resonates over the entire display straining your eyes. This display isn't any better than the regular 1366 x 768 displays found on Chromebooks of this price range. The webcam is sub par at best. I'm not going to say I wouldn't recommend this device to anyone because it depends on what it is going to be used for. For the education market, this device could be perfect. However for daily use like web browsing, media consumption, and checking email there are other suitable options. I have decided to keep the device still as I have an extra monitor and keyboard/mouse laying around. I will hook it up to them and turn it into a chrome desktop.

My son loved this laptop. He wished that it was a touch screen. I purchased it for school since he did school from home during covid.

Incredible machine for the price. Does everything I need it to do. I use Office365 via browser and apps. I use aws cloud9 for coding and aws WorkSpaces for the Windows apps I need to use rarely. I’m shocked at how well it works. Heck, the Chrome Linux beta even gets me a sudo-capable terminal for whatever. Is the screen as nice as my MacBook? Of course not. But it’s perfectly adequate, and the keyboard, trackpad, and overall form and feel are quite good, frankly. The biggest benefit is its lack of preciousness. I don’t keep any data locally, so if I lose it, I’m only out $300, and I can replace it in an hour or two, including the trip to Best Buy. 100% recommended.

Was great when I got it! Even 3 years later, it’s held up wonderfully!

I love the speed of the unit & screen size. A lot easier to use than my old windows based desktop.
