Geez, I wanted to like this. It was a Christmas Present. I have a older XE513C24 I love it, The battery life and screen size were the only reasons I wanted something else. This model has a larger screen, but the contrast and viewing angle stink. I am sending it in for repair because the trackpad gets physically stuck somehow. If I was in the return window it would be gone. Also has trackpad clicks when carrying on the sides. NOT TOUCH SCREEN If this is for basic browsing then go for it. Anything else, including watching youtube, Netflix, ETC find a better screen. Blacks are non existent, just some shade of grey depending how the screen is angled. I wanted to love it, but I guess this is what you get for $300.

The computer is lightweight and has a nice sized screen. It is easy to set up and use.

This is an amazing Chromebook, as I have come to realize that Chromebooks are amazing themselves. Everything can now be done on the web, and the 15-inch screen in this one does the machine justice for everything that you need to! The build quality of this Chromebook is also much better than many that I have seen.

It's fast, but it has a lot of downfalls that I didn't know about before purchasing. Microsoft ended their Word and Office apps in September of this year for chromebook. I bought this to write in my books and it was on sale. I have hotspot only and do not always want it on just to write in my books with the online option. Ridiculous. You will also have a very difficult time connecting to your hotspot just to set up the thing if that's all you have. Outside of that, it's good. I just wished I had bought a windows pc and not this.

I'm not a techy at all but this was simple to get set up. Kind of wish i would have gotten a touchscreen because I've only had a tablet and i still catch myself touching the screen. But the picture size and clarity is Great.

Works great. Easy to carry around or store. Picture quality (resolution) on the screen is great. Wireless mouse is the best.

This is an excellent machine for what it was intended and its price. If you expect to get the performance of a $1,000 machine you are setting yourself up for disappointment. P.S. Best Buy's Geek Squad coverage is a must.

Bought this for my wife an Apple person, Shs loves her new chime book and the chrome operating system.

After using for about 8 months, I am not satisfied with this product. (1) the audio does not switch between internal and headphones when I plug in. I have to manually switch in settings. (2) the soft ware has a known bug with my VPN client which interrupts the client after about 30-45 minutes. (3) app for my HP printer does not work correctly for scanning or printing. (4) does not recognize monitor plug in unless you reboot. (5) the wi-fi cuts out for no apparant reason. Who knows what other bugs exist that I have not yet discovered. On the other hand, good web browsing for low price. At the time of purchase, my old PC had conked out and I could not afford a new PC. So I bought the chromebook. But unfortunately, you get what you pay for. I would not buy this one again.

I did purchase an "Open Box" Model. Even with the huge discount this laptop is not worth it. The CPU and RAM is always maxed out and i barley do anything on this. Things like google voice do not run constantly even after switching the settings. Its wearing down pretty quickly. My last laptop was a macbook pro and lasted me 4 years and i had 165 charges when i sold it. When i received this item it did not include the charger. Huge laugh and irritation. It also did not tell me this online, but when i showed up in the store they then told me after i asked. They then showed me chargers online and told me they had none in store. I waited two days until my amazon purchase showed up. After powering this on the battery count was already at 266 CHARGES for whatever reason. I don't know how a used item was able to be used that much before they returned it. Let alone the fact that the store accepted it and resold it to me. The "Paint" on the body it coming off and revealing white plastic. The speakers are TERRIBLE the worst ones i have ever heard. Most of the time the volumes on max and i cant hear anything. Ive been using headphones to get around it. I decided to buy a $50 laptop on eBay and its way better than what ever this is. Google play store doesn't work half the time. Had a very hard time even getting it to allow me to log into the play store. I had to try 3 different wifis before it worked. At first I thought this was an amazing product when I first received it and quickly realized it is no where worth $300. Glad im back to Lenovo. Oh i forgot to mention hen i type on this laptop while its on the table it literally bent under my HANDS!!!!!!!!!!! NOT WELL MADE, TERRIBLE DISTRIBUTION
