I liked that fact that it would run off of the TV remote, and at $199 it looked like a good deal. Product description online says no cable included, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it did include an optical cable. Got it all hooked up, turned it on, and it sounded WORSE than the TV speakers, and not even as loud. Flat, muddy sound that at level 35 was not as loud as the TV speakers at 15. Spent quite a while working with Samsung support, who eventually concluded that it was defective. I have a low tolerance for products that are defective right out of the box, so I guess it's another 2 hour round trip to return it.
