    Continually recycles off of source

    I bought this with my Samsung smart TV. For awhile the sound quality was good. I have strong internet service for all of my wi-fi devices. About 8 months ago the sound bar started to recycle off the source. I've been working with my internet provider and there is no problem with the quality of my service. I have read that this is a common problem with this model. Any suggestions? I have always preffered Samsung products until now.

    I love that my Samsung sound bar only connects to my tv when it wants to and the terrible in and out quality of the sound IF it connects really is the icing on the cake. Pairs great with my 65" curved 4k Samsung t.v. where volume 1 and 100 sounds the same. Id say almost $2k well spent! NOT

    Not a good long term use product

    While it worked it was ok. Sound was a little lagging (had to set the timing multiple times to get that resolved so people talking synced between picture and sound). Bought in 2019 and now in 2023 it's overheating and stopping during use. I have other expensive good quality speakers that have lasted over 20 years, so for this to last less than 5 years is a disappointment.

    Subwoofer Fatal Error -- Again

    The soundbard itself works fine. The Subwoofer; however, is garbage. It worked for apprx 30 minutes to an hour, then stopped. The red and blue lights were flashing on top--looked it up, says it's a fatal error. Called Samsung, the made us go through all of the steps we already went through from the manual, just to tell us it was a fatal error. We had to send it it. We were told to send the whole unit, as it would be replaced, but instead, the sent us back the exact same unit, allegedly repaired. It worked for about 15 minutes, and then cut out. Now, it works for about 5 seconds if you unplug and plug back in, then cuts out and the red and blue lights come back on. Now I have to deal with this again. I had to drive two towns over, a 44 mi round trip, to send it out last time, because Samsung was too cheap to schedule a UPS pick up at my door. I've been an avid Samsung consumer over the years, phones, appliances, TV...but this is too much. They should have replaced it the first time, without inconveniencing me.

    Awesome sound, low rating because the remote doesn't have a volume control feature. Works with TV remote but kind of an oversight for an audio device.

      Thank you for your review of the Samsung HW-M360 Soundbar. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulties adjusting the sound volume from the remote.

      You can select from TREBLE, BASS or AUDIO SYNC
      - To control the volume of the treble or bass sound, select TREBLE or BASS in Sound Settings, and then adjust the volume between -6~+6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
      - Press and hold the (Sound Control) button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2KHz, 2.5KHz, 5KHz, and 10KHz are selectable (Left/Right) and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 ~ +6 (Up/Down).
      - If the video and audio between the TV and your Soundbar are not synchronized, select AUDIO SYNC in Sound Settings, and then set audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons. (Except “USB” mode)
      - Audio Sync is only supported in some functions

    Average Sound, Subwoofer Died

    I was expecting a little more from a Samsung sound bar. Not sure where all the 5 star ratings are coming from. Bought it to go with my new Samsung TV, but the sound is only marginally better than coming from the TV itself. Optical cable doesn't improve the sound over HDMI. Clear Voice selection doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference. Subwoofer failed to connect after 6 months. Samsung Support went through the same steps I did, agreed Bluetooth wasn't working. Wanted me to ship back a 15 lb device. Marginal sound, components stopped working ... I gave up on it and went with a different brand.

    I just purchased this soundbar (June 23, 2017) to go with a Samsung 4K TV purchased at the same time. I always buy the same brand to make syncing with the TV much easier. This is not the case with this soundbar and it will be getting returned today. The bar says it is synced with the TV via bluetooth when I first started using it and it worked Great! Decent bass, much louder and clearer sound than the TV. Then it just stopped syncing. "Ok i'll use the Optical cable..." That's what I thought....Still NOT ANY LOUDER than the TV! SO FRUSTRATED! Will Give best buy and samsung one more shot with the "higher priced, better quality soundbar" -- for $60 more. But if it keeps up then I am switching brands to a pure audio company.

    Extremely weak subwoofer

    Bought mine the other day. Quick installation and easy to pair and connect. Pretty good sound from the Soundbar but the subwoofer is extremely weak. Barely hear any difference if I have the sub on or not. Even if this Soundbar is on the lower scale I definitely would have expected a better subwoofer. Haven’t decided if I shall return or not.

    Sound bar sounds good but remote does not work. Contacted Samsung and was told to ship sound bar to them and they would fix it. Fix it. That's what you want to hear when you buy something brand new.

      1) Once you contact and inform us that you need to process an RMA, we will email you an RMA form.
      a) This form will ask for your contact info, reason for repair, and a copy/photo of your receipt/bill of sale (if possible).
      b) Please email us back the completed form and proof of purchase.

      2) Once we receive your completed RMA form, we will email you your RMA Ticket Number. If you are within the U.S., you will also be emailed a UPS label to send us your Soundbar/Speakers/UBD for assessment.

    I have a Samsung Soundbar in my living room that is fantastic. In fact I liked it so much I bought a similar one (this one) because no one seems to have the other Model HW-MM55. I did not expect it to be as good but it's simply awful. There is no bass response, it has no power, it's pretty much useless. Samsung makes some great stuff but this is not one of those things. The 5 star reviews here are blowing my mind. Did I get a bad one?

    Have it connected via optic cabe to my samsung tv. Sound from the bar is great. Sub woofer hardy works below volume 25 even with bass and the woofer turned up to full.

    What in the heck is the big thing about a sound bar? I do not get it! It hardly makes any difference then the TV speakers, plus I can barely hear the sub-woofer at all even at a 6. Easy to set up but a waste of money. I confess this is my first sound bar. Do you need to watch movies with F-14's talking off to hear the frick'n sub-woofer?

    Pretty good soundbar and sub, but less than a year after buying it, it would not turn on. Tried all the stuff to solve it from the Samsung website to no avail.
