If you are familiar with optical audio connections you probably would not have any issues with this. Unfortunately I was not, and spend several minutes trying to connect the cable to the speaker and to TV and could not get it to plug into anything. Read and reread the instructions, finally watched a couple YouTube videos and one of them state hey you got to remove the little white plastic tips of the ends of the cable to connect them. Amazing how something so simple could cause such an issue. Other than that, I am totally pleased with this sound bar.

This was the perfect addition to the Samsung TV bought. It has great sound and the different settings for sound are nice to have. I recommend this product.

If you're looking for an alternative to the standard TV speakers provided you won't be disappointed with this speaker system. The sound quality is great.

As far as I'm concerned, buying this soundbar was one of my better decisions. Greatly enhances sound with deep enriching bass sounds like in a theatre.

The samsung surround sound was difficult to connect in the beginning. We were on the phone with customer service for one hour. The system sounds great!

It worked as advertised. Easy to install, so it should have explained more about the cable connection. Could have used a few more watt output.

This was so easy to install although the optical cable didn't work well it keeps falling down I connected with a 3.5 cable it works wanders good product.

It works great! Occasionally seems to cut in and out, it happens so infrequently though I haven't even looked into it. Might just be a loose wire.

I had purchased one of the Samsung soundbar back in February. I a amazed of the sound quality so I went back and bought another one. 100% satisfied

For it's price, whether it be full retail or on sale via Best Buy, you get a great soundbar that will pack a punch and add some bite to your existing TV. I paired this with my Samsung TV and the pairing was simple and Samsung products are perfectly compatible together. It's great! It is a entry-level soundbar so it doesn't get as loud as other sound bars or feature a true surround sound experience, but if you're looking for some added immersion, bass and improved quality of sound for an affordable price, then this is the perfect soundbar for you!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my parents at a great price. The sound quality and how loud the bass is, really makes this a must have.

I didn't think soundbar's would be this nice, I was wrong, the subwoofer is powerful, and the sound at is great quality and surprisingly gets loud.

Great sound! I was debating between LG and Samsung. Went to my local Bestbuy to test them out. Ended up leaving with the Samsung!

I primarily purchased the Samsung 2.1 for the times when you want a little more presence than what comes out of the factory TV speakers. The other reason for purchasing this product was that it was going with a new Samsung TV and I wanted the remote compatibility. Not sure I achieved that as the week link is the cable box remote. Plan to resolve that once I ditch our cable provider. If you are looking for a small unit that is easy to connect that offers moderate volume for movies or audio this is system is a good value.
