Good entry level soundbar

If this is all you're looking for then this soundbar is a good buy. It provides a full sound all around. The included subwoofer is pretty weak, but better than nothing. Knowing what I know now, I would've spent another hundred for the next model up.

But what I really, really would like is a visual on the screen showing me the numbers on the volume going louder or softer, and a visual showing me when I've muted the sound! This sound bar doesn't have any visuals at all, and that bugs me to the max!!

A common misunderstanding is that customers are not placing the soundbar with the SAMSUNG logo facing up toward the ceiling. If you position the soundbar with the logo facing up, you will see the display/status panel. (Refer to product photos on BestBuy.com and zoom in on the photos) This could explain why you did not notice the visuals.
