Samsung soundbar

Also, the Bluetooth is a little iffy. The subwoofer disconnects periodically. Also, I have to turn on the soundbar each time I turn on the TV.

Somewhat disappointed it doesn't power on automatically when turning the TV on. Sound is just okay. I was expecting more bass from the sub. Bottom line, you get what you pay for.

Thank you for your review of the Samsung HW-K360 Audio Soundbar. I am sorry to hear that you had some control issues with this soundbar
Please know that the Samsung K360 would be able to be controlled with one remote.
By default, power ON by the TV is set to off. You have to press the "Bluetooth POWER" button on the remote to turn the feature on. The Bluetooth POWER On function is available after you have successfully connected the Soundbar to a Bluetooth compatible TV using TV SoundConnect. When the Bluetooth POWER On function is ON, turning the connected TV on or off will turn the Soundbar's power on and off as well.
Please refer to the diagram drawing of the remote in your User Manual (page 9 "REMOTE CONTROL"). Then refer to pages 22 and 28 for further details

Trouble with setup.

Please know that it would be able to be controlled with one remote if:
a) It is connected to the TV via HDMI ARC or
b) It is connected wirelessly to the TV via TV SoundConnect
However, neither of these solutions is possible if you are trying to connect it to TV's that do not have TV SoundConnect or HDMI via ARC.

Expected better from Samsung

Subwoofer Issues

The sound would come and go while listening to music or watching a movie. I thought it was just an issue with the product so I took it back in exchange for another one and I had the same issues. I hooked it up with an optical cord since somehow my new Samsung television did not have blue tooth technology to connect wirelessly. I proceeded to return that one as well and just got a soundbar with built in subwoofer that works great.

Nice sound for a small room

Subwooder wouldn't connect 1/2 the time.

Especially pairing it with my new Samsung TV. Connection worked as expected and at first I was thrilled. Sounded OK for a cheap soundbar, voice clarity was better than my old one. I noticed, though, that the wireless subwoofer wouldn't turn itself on or connect when turning the rest of the system on at least half of the time. This was the same whether it was across the room or right next to the bar. I did find a firmware update on Samsung's website which states to basically "throw this file on a thumb drive and stick it in the soundbar's USB slot and power it on." Awesome... except the soundbar only has a MICRO-usb slot. How many of you have micro-usb thumb drives? None? Great, go buy a $20 adapter just to do a 2 minute firmware update. I did... and promptly returned it. This didn't fix the problem at all. I promptly returned it and reluctantly spent some more money on a Zvox and am VERY happy now.

Soundbar

One thing worth checking out is the placement of your soundbar. A common misunderstanding is that customers are not placing the soundbar with the SAMSUNG logo facing up towards the ceiling. If you position the soundbar with the logo facing up, you will see the display/status panel and the speakers will be facing outward. (Refer to product photos on BestBuy.com and zoom in on the photos) If you have incorrectly placed the soundbar with the display side down and the SAMSUNG logo perpendicular to the floor, you will experience muffled or low quality sound because the unit will be resting on the speakers.

Middle of the road soundbar could be so much bette
