Fills up their large Livingroom with noise. The wireless sub is an added bonus as it can be kept out of the way. The Sound bar integrates into Samsung TVs rather well. Make sure to check your latency settings so you dont get out of sync sound. Remote works great too!

Bad Speaker or User Error?

When you turn the surround sound and turn the TV up, it echoes. This could potentially be a user error in some regard, but I will research it more when I am back home to troubleshoot the issue. Also, when the volume is up all the way, it doesn't project much sound. However, I think this is due to the soundbar and subwoofer aren't pairing to TV. I have another SoundBar by Samsung and it works great. Do I need to use an HDMI cord to connect the surround system to TV or?

Exceeded My Expectations

The treble seemed to be much lower than the bass, but after figuring out how to raise the treble and “even it out”, it’s perfect. It also gets very loud. How’s up to 100 volume, and at 65 it’s much louder than I’ll ever have it! Super easy to setup too. Great purchase.

The best things about it are the price and the easy set up if you have a Samsung TV. It comes with a separate remote, but it synced with my TV remote immediately, so I don’t need to use 2 remotes. The sound is just ok. It’s better than the TV speakers, but not by much. If you’re serious about sound or have a relatively big room, get a better sound bar. If you just want a stereo quality sound for a bedroom or small living room, this will do. I am satisfied with it for now, but I may upgrade in the future.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-T450 Soundbar and for your review. I am very sorry that you are not happy with the volume of your soundbar. Simply changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM can help. You may want to try changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM.
This can be found at Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings. (It can also be found in the Quick Settings.)
If your Digital Output Audio Format isn't set to PCM, like for instance if you have a Dolby option selected, then you will likely notice decreased maximum volume. Dolby options are designed for surround systems (like 5.1 or 7.1), whereas PCM provides great sound quality for stereo speakers.
If you don't have a surround system, you will probably want to select PCM. You'll get much louder volume that way, and potentially better sound quality.

But I do notice that sometimes the sound isnt what I had set ot to . Like the subwolfer almost sounds softer than what it was in the box. But overall great quality

You can listen to something quietly or jam loudly. The rear wireless speakers are great too...you can adjust their volume up to 5 or 6 settings I believe. They make watching an action movie or a video game even more fun. Highly recommend and for the price you can't beat it.

Simple sound-bar/woofer setup

Often unpairs itself from a Samsung TV, and I’ve had to call Samsung often for assistance, which they could only help with sometimes. Basically, just unplug everything for half an hour, come back and set everything back up from scratch, “usually” works for a few months until it unpairs again.
