Great Soundbar for the Price

I didn't need anything powerful and the HW-T450 was the perfect solution at an economical price. Good sound quality. I ordered the unit online as an in-store pick-up. The San Marcos Best Buy had it ready to go when I arrived. Great service!

This soundbar is decent for the price and if you live in a smaller home. If you’re expecting something great then this is not it. I purchased this for the sole reason on amplifying my sound. I wasn’t looking for anything super fancy. It does amplify sound but it’s not superb. If you live in a big home or want to put this in a large room, then I’d reconsider. Overall, good quality because it’s Samsung but not the best product.

Thank you for sharing your review of the Samsung HW-T450. I am sorry to see that you are not completely happy with the sound performance. This soundbar features a powerful wireless subwoofer, as well as Game Mode, & Smart Sound which automatically detects what you're watching and optimizes the sound setting.
You can try manually optimizing your settings by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, SMART, or DRC.
You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).

Went in for a budget product and got one.

They don't make it anymore. I gave the terrific salesperson the task and stay under $500 and we ended up with this, plus wireless rear speakers which the old system had. To make a long story short, It's not 5.1. It's more 2.1 Plus. Everything is OK, but are we long term satisfied with just ok? So, do we go through the hassle of returning and spending $300 - $500 more or make do? We're still deciding.

The improvement in sound vs the TV is quite good especially given the price. I had some trouble adjusting the sound settings however, as sometimes it seems the sound did not reflect the changes I was making to the settings. At one point there was no sound coming from the subwoofer and it took me awhile to figure it out. It’s still a good deal for the price

As soon as I plugged this on my tv all the magic happened, now I’m always excited to go home and enjoy the wonderful sound from the Vizio sound bar.
