Found that at low volume, the subwoofer omits a rumble, and crackle, no matter how low the bass is set. Apparently this is a normal thing, according to everything I have researched. No explanation. Otherwise it's decent for the price. You definitely get what you pay for. Higher volume, it's fine.

But there isnt a power light... so there is no way of knowing it’s on or not. The set up makes it hard because again cant tell if its on or not. Got it all set up, Bluetooth (because the optic wasnt connecting. But still even when its connected to the universal remote it falls off /turns off. I struggle with the connection often

Easy to connect and install on the wall. The sound is great and better than our this internal speaker. Highly recommend this product.

Great starter for less money

I was going to reinstall my expensive surround setup at later date. This Samsung sound bar sounds so well I may just keep this and add two wireless speakers to go with it.

Random Sound Volumes

When you want to raise or lower volume manually, it takes a lot of clicks to make progress. Almost tempted to go back to my 90s era sound system; it's old, but still sounds better.

Thank you for purchasing the HW-T450 soundbar and for your review. I am very sorry to hear that dialogue is being drowned out in some scenes and too low to hear in other scenes.
To improve your experience, try using Dynamic Range Control (DRC). DRC lets you apply dynamic range control to Dolby Digital tracks. With DRC turned on, loud sounds will be reduced.
1) Turn off your Soundbar.
2) While the Soundbar is off, press and hold the Sound Mode button on the remote control for 6 seconds until you see “DRC ON” shown on the display.
3) To turn off DRC, repeat steps 1 and 2 above.
You can also try optimizing audio performance for your specific content by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your soundbar remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or SMART.
