I have the sound bar connected to the TV by optical cable (only other choice is bluetooth). And the sound just isn't as dynamic as I expected (certainly nothing like the display at the store!) I have the volume set at 75 and it still isn't loud or what I expected; background noise dominates announcing and dialogue. I've tried finding some settings within the TV - A Crystal UHD 8 Series (but there aren't many to do with sound). Movies sound horrible -- nothing like my 10-year old system this was meant to replace. I really don't know what to do to make this system sound like I expected. I am considering returning the entire thing and getting something else... Any advice or guidance would be appreciated.
