Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.overall this is a pretty good product for the price. honestly if you purchase this for a room or a den it will sound like you are in the movies, but I was being cheap and I wanted one for my larger living room area its pretty good at times but if there is lots of noise it will drown it out AGAIN I MADE THE MISTAKE OF BUYING IT FOR MY LIVING ROOM that was my mistake lol but this is a excellent product.

I was given the Samsung HW-T650 instead at the same price. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to do that and call me and tell me they were not making me even have to ask. The one I got is AMAZING, I love the Bluetooth capability and remote control compatibility with my Samsung TV.

This was the third big screen Samsung TV I’ve gotten and they are all great. The second Samsung sound bar I’ve bought. Also great. The TV stand was very nice also. Easy to put together. She has an apartment so I didn’t want to put holes in the wall by hanging it. The height of the stand keeps the TV relatively high. I’m quite pleased with my purchase.

Low profile design takes very little room, easy to mount to wall and Bluetooth sub was seamless to connect and adds some nice low end support to the sound.

The subwoofer has a hissing sound when not in use or when the volume is turned down low. I will have to troubleshoot this and see if it’s something that can be fixed.

When you hear static coming from your soundbar, it could be from a bad signal from the TV or a poor connection. It could also be cause by interference by mobile devices placed nearby. (1) Be sure to move phones and tablets at least 3 feet away, (2) Make sure that all cables are firmly connected to the soundbar at both ends, (3) Finally, check if the static is occurring on all sources connected to the soundbar. If it is only occurring on one source, replace the cable that the device is connected with.

My JL blows this one away but dose have a good hanging capability.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-T450 Soundbar and for your review. I am very sorry that you are not happy with the volume of your soundbar. Simply changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM can help. You may want to try changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM.
This can be found at Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings. (It can also be found in the Quick Settings.)
If your Digital Output Audio Format isn't set to PCM, like for instance if you have a Dolby option selected, then you will likely notice decreased maximum volume. Dolby options are designed for surround systems (like 5.1 or 7.1), whereas PCM provides great sound quality for stereo speakers.
If you don't have a surround system, you will probably want to select PCM. You'll get much louder volume that way, and potentially better sound quality.
