The problem is the sound often gets out of sync with the picture. Switching to Bluetooth helped, but it did not completely solve the problem. I know how to get it back in sync, that's not the problem. The problem is that this is occurring much too frequently to be acceptable for what I paid. I would return this and add more money to buy a better bar if I wasn't outside the return window.

The sound bar sounds great, love the blue tooth connectivity however, there is something wrong with the subwoofer, makes like a hissing type sound is the best way to describe it, it’s low but makes listen to it unbearable as it ruins everything you watch, it’s weird and very, very annoying. I can’t be the only one hearing this who purchased this product, yet when pause the tv or right before a commercial comes on, it’s super quite or even some shows on tv it will be quite depending on what channel, Netflix, nope, it’s there and it’s so bad, I have to turn off the sound bar just to enjoy my show, what the heck. I don’t get it. Wish I could post a audio clip on here for you all to hear this and of course I noticed this right after the timeframe bestbuy will allow me to return this. Is there a fix or what is causing this. There is nothing to cause interference so that’s not it, if this can’t be fixed then save your money and I recommend a different a brand.

Quality is just as good, connections easy. I recommend either now or when on a deal, can’t go wrong with it.

And it automatically turns on with tv. And when I bought the speakers to go with sound bar. They automatically paired while I was reading instructions on how to pair. And I like that is wifi. So put behind couch no wired to tv.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-T450 featuring Smart Sound technology that auto-detects what you are watching and adjusts settings for the best experience. I'm sorry to see that you are not completely happy with performance.
To optimize your audio experience, please try the various sound modes this model offers. Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select your desired sound effect: STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, SMART, or DRC.
You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).
There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from the soundbar and subwoofer:
1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.
2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.

You can try optimizing audio performance for your specific content by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your soundbar remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or SMART.

IT IS!!! I can hear things I've NEVER heard while watching TV, Netflix, etc. The price was right. The quality is wonderful. I highly recommend.

This was the perfect addition for the TV. I also purchased the Samsung 8500 rear speakers. This combination tremendously improves t VERY HAPPY!
