    This is my first sound bar so I'm not sure what I expected. I bought it so we wouldn't have to turn our TV to highest volume to hear. It seems to cut off and on from TV to sound bar and it is hardwired not blue toothed. Has good sound when it works but just isn't quite what I expected. Like I said I am new to this technology so it could be just me.

    It is loud and very nice with movies. Having trouble with using my tv remote to control volume.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-T450 Soundbar and for your review. I am very sorry that you are not happy with the volume of your soundbar. Simply changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM can help. You may want to try changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM.

      This can be found at Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings. (It can also be found in the Quick Settings.)

      If your Digital Output Audio Format isn't set to PCM, like for instance if you have a Dolby option selected, then you will likely notice decreased maximum volume. Dolby options are designed for surround systems (like 5.1 or 7.1), whereas PCM provides great sound quality for stereo speakers.

      If you don't have a surround system, you will probably want to select PCM. You'll get much louder volume that way, and potentially better sound quality.

    I love these. You can really tell the difference in sound when I hook them up on my TVs. I have 2 of them. I like how you have the option of either connecting them directly with a cable or using the Bluetooth feature.

    Difficult to connect to devices but most importantly, sound quality is just okay, yes it is louder than the tv speakers but not great quality and not much louder, not worth it, would return it but don't want to go through the trouble and already threw box away

      You can try manually optimizing your settings by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, SMART, or DRC.

    Easy set up and excellent sound! This is the second time I have ampt up my TV sound. I wanted to feel like we were in a theater when we watched a movie and this system did deliver!! Very happy Customer here!

    Product is good but I feel it could’ve been better. I still feel like I have to turn it up high to hear the effects of what I’m watching. My son has a different sound bar don’t know the model number and year but I feel his works better then this one. I do like the fact that the bar is a medium size and the Woofer is not a big bulk box.

    Great sound for this budget, lacks equalizer and HDMI eARC. I use the fiber optic cable and it works well, would be better with eARC. That sets it behind on features. Audio-wise, its good and fills a medium living room well. A ton better than the TV speakers, but that's a given.

    Not bad. I figure small bedroom, perfect sound bar. Sounds great with music, meh with regular Netflix or Hulu. Also Bluetooth never worked had to connect by optical port. Using with a Samsung Q70T and some times is disconnect before the tv eventually picks it back up
