    We just installed this, and so far it works fine. Fully integrated with the TV so additional control is needed for most things. We are just experimenting with the various sound modes.

    It is what it is for the money. Got this as a secondary unit in my office. I have Klipsch for primary setup in living room. One complaint is that it completely unpairs itself every couple of months, but the easy fix is unplugging it while on and it will auto re pair itself when coming back on

Updating the firmware on your soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. You can update your firmware ver. 1043 by using a USB device. You can find the update on the product page of your HW-T450 on the Samsung website.

    I am using a 10 year old Samsung TV, the TV speakers finally started to go so it was time to get a sound bar. Improvement over the TV speakers for sure but I am disappointed in the control interface and the lack of a equalizer of some kind. You have a volume and woofer control and thats about it.

      Thank you for sharing your review of the Samsung HW-T450. I am sorry to see that you are not completely happy with your sound experience. Your soundbar features powerful bass with a 6.5” wireless subwoofer & Smart Sound which automatically optimizes the sound based on the content.

      You can try adjusting audio performance to your liking by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your soundbar remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or SMART.

      You can also press the Sound Control button on the remote (looks like a gear) to adjust TREBLE and BASS.

      Press and hold the Sound Control button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each of seven frequency bands.

      Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down.

    Light weight great sound. Easy to connect to Samsung products. The sub really puts out sound you can feel. I use it for my bedroom so it is a smaller room, keep that in mind.

    bought as a gift. It was difficult sync the woofer. The remote is extremely difficult to remove the battery cover. The woofer is overwhelming even with the volume down to level 2. After all the trouble setting it up, inserting the batteries, it sounds better than the TV speakers.

      Thank you for sharing your review of the Samsung HW-T450. This soundbar features a powerful wireless subwoofer, as well as Game Mode, & Smart Sound which automatically detects what you're watching and optimizes the sound setting.

      You can adjust TREBLE and BASS via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol). There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from the soundbar and subwoofer:
      1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.

      2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.

      For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.
