Worked good and good sound. Tried to connect to TV and sound bar wouldn’t power on. Will be returning for replacement or upgrade.

So here im thinking im upgrading to a better one... Man was i wrong. When the samsung soundbar is 100 percent volume it sounds like my polk at 45 percent volume. smh what a dissapointment. The Tv itself was louder

We went out of our way to purchase a USB drive to update the firmware (released on 6/30/2020), and the Bluetooth did work fine for 1 day, and now we’re back to the original problem where we would put the sound bar on Bluetooth pairing mode, and no devices would pick up the sound bar (2 iPhones, 2 iPads, and 3 MacBook Pro’s did not pick up the device). The sound bar works seamlessly with our 7-series Samsung TV when plugged in to the optical. But the Bluetooth doesn’t work at all. We’ve tried everything - our router is not close to the sound bar, updating the firmware, etc, and nothing. Do not recommend if you want to use Bluetooth.

The Mac operating system can use the Apt-X, AAC or SBC codecs for Bluetooth. For your soundbar, please use the SBC codec on the iMac. I’ve tried to switch to integrating Samsung more into my life but at this price point for this sound bar it just isn’t worth it. The sound is not much louder from my 65 inch Samsung tv speakers and the subwoofer just wasn’t pulling its own weight what so ever. I’m only giving this a 2 star rating because it at least sound great when music is playing. I went to try another soundbar in a very similar price range for about $30 dollars more after tax and the geek squad protection plan I got a 5.1 surround setup from Vizio and I’m watching movie trailers and sound test clips on YouTube as I type this and I have to say this is just a world of a different experience.

Great improvement over television speakers
