Sound bar and subwoofer paired on their own. When I tried to use the remote control though it didn't work. It wouldn't turn on or off. I replaced with new batteries to make sure it wasn't a battery issue. The remote wouldn't work on anything, volume, off/on, subwoofer. I am going to try to return it or at least get a store credit. I would recommend this to a friend as I assume it was only the remote that was bad.

I am very sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your remote. Usually, we recommend that you first check your batteries, but you have already done so. We also recommend that the distance between the remote and soundbar main unit is not too far.
