This is an upgrade to an older Samsung model i had which was the same dimensions. To start, they change the mounting hole locations as well as removed the centering hole. This was a poor decision, everytime younhave to drill holes in a cabinet it weakens it. Also it requires so much more work to install. That alone makes me feel i will never purchase a Samsung microwave again. They need to be standard like tv mounts. The enclosure feels so cheap, the metal is held on by small bent tabs over cheap plastic. The mount holes are not even attached to the frame so it feels that at any moment it can fall down. This also causes the top to separate from the body. I never had this issue with any of my past microwaves from Samsung. For the price of this one I expected at least half decent quality.

I am giving this an average review because when I got home after it had been installed it saw that it had 2 dents in it. They are not huge, but I did not get this on sale so I paid a sum of money. I am not sure if the Microwave came with the dents or if they happened with installation, so I will give a remark on that review as well.

This is great buy. The interior finish is a baked on enamal like in an oven. Good looking and works great has a lot of presets as well.

Have been able to use this microwave that much as of yet but has done a fine job the few times I have. Very attractive piece to my new kitchen

This microwave was suppose to replace my LG microwave however, it was shipped damaged and the door frame is slanted I tried microwaving my child's baby bottle and it sounded like a truck was in my kitchen. Best buy should have trained installers. He knew their was something wrong with the product, left the device at my house and said someone would call me to replace it. The pther reviews are definitely accurate.

Two stars just for the looks. This microwave is very “basic”. Most of the features like reheat, popcorn, etc don’t work properly. We have the entire set, range, fridge, and dishwasher. All very nice and good except for the microwave.

Works great. Isnt loud. Cooks everything well. Happy with it.

We got the previous version of this microwave, the MC17J8000CS, and have to replace it after three years. We keep getting the error code C-D0, which is “Control buttons are pressed over 10 seconds. Clean the keys and check if there is water on the surface around key. If it occurs again, turn off the microwave oven over 30 seconds and try setting again.” When it happened the first time, we unplugged and after several fits and starts, it eventually worked again consistently. This time, we’ve had it unplugged for four days and it has not worked. We are now shopping for another microwave and it will not be a Samsung.

Having issues with unit. After about 8 minutes on high it makes a noise and power drops very low and doesn’t seem to microwave on high anymore. You have to let the unit cool down for about 10 minutes before it will even work anymore.
