Our nearly 9-year old GE refrigerator literally died suddenly one evening, so off to Best Buy for a new one with barely an hour to shop before closing! We aren’t into all the fancy gadgets that add cost and increase the likelihood of something failing, so this Samsung side by side fridge was just what we were looking for! A simple in-door ice maker makes for ample freezer shelf space, and the refrigerator side has more room than our old fridge. Food is kept nicely cold too! We’ve had this new fridge now for about a month and we absolutely love it! A common complaint from other reviewers is that the light on the fridge side is more backlit because there isn’t a light on the top, but to us this is a small thing. Our old fridge had a top light, but that made tall bottles only fit on the sides and not the middle where the light strip came forward towards the door. Now with this new Samsung fridge, tall bottles and other talk items can fit everywhere on the top shelf! As to the light indicators on the ice and water dispenser that other reviewers have complained about as well, that’s not a big issue for us either as we don’t wander around in the kitchen in the middle of the night, in the dark, looking for a glass of ice water! We keep two insulated glasses of ice water by our bed each night.

I like this refrigerator with the ice cube maker all on one side to save space in the freeze. Seems roomy on both sides.

Hard to know if this is going to last and I'm glad I purchased extended warranty coverage after reading other reviews. Its a very noisy machine and I don't just mean the ice maker. When the fan turns on inside the fridge its loud. At first the water dispenser dripped very slowly, but that stopped after about 24 hours and it hasn't happened again. I thought the shelving in the freezer was inadequate. There are 2 drawers and 2 shelves, but I actually think that the drawers waste space in a freezer because you can't see what's inside of them. Baskets with see through openings seem to work better in a freezer which is what my last one (a GE) had. So I took a plastic basket that I had in my garage and used it on one of the shelves and I purchased another Samsung shelf on my own to better utilize the freezer space so I could have 3 shelves. Wish I could give it more stars. Really nothing wrong yet, but I don't think its going to last very long.

I really like the size of the fridge. I like all of the roomy drawers and shelves. The only negative I've noticed is the noise when it runs and pulls water to make ice. Living in a house with all hardwood floors the noise sometimes wakes me in the middle of the night.

This is a great refrigerator for the price. There is a lot of room both inside and fits well in deep areas. The unit does tend to have a hum to it but it is not loud or annoying.

Really pleased with my side by side refrigerator. The ice and water dispenser works well and the water is filtered which makes it taste much better. Slightly disappointed that the water is not colder, it seems to be warmer than the fridge and the tank is not that big, I guess around 2 large glasses. Ice maker holds plenty of ice and works well, not had any issues with it jamming itself yet. The lighting is good throughout and the overall profit feels sturdy and the handles do not bend like some others when you open and close the doors. Stainless finish looks good and seems to stay fairly streak free. I would recommend this and this its better value than lots of others we looked at.

It is bigger than I thought. I love the lighting all the way up the back. The ice maker in the door doesn't waste the top shelf in the freezer. Lucky to have found it after the hurricane.

I'm pretty pleased with the Samsung 24.5 cubic foot side by side refrigerator with ice and water dispenser. It has helped me keep organized after food shopping by giving me plenty of space and compartments to keep my food fresh. The water dispenser has encouraged all of my family members to drink more water and keep hydrated. It's a little luxury that I never considered in previous refrigerators. The only little complaint I might have would be the strange popping noises I hear late at night when the ice maker is settling. It startled me at first but I have gotten used to it. All in all I'm very happy with the purchase and the delivery was competent and professional.

I was impressed with how quickly the new product reached optimum temperature right out of the box. So much more space than our previous side by side.

We wanted a white fridge that had the better features and this had them it still looks up to date and has the same features as the stainless steal with a easy to care for clean white finish and a lot easier to arrange than our old french door freezer was great ice in door without taking up a lot of space

Refrigerator is very roomy. Lighting inside is excellent...uses LEDs. Ice maker is quick to fill up as well. Very pleased with this purchase.

purchased 4 Samsung appliances and still evaluating quality of products. Refrigerator ice maker froze up and had to manually defrost. Issue is built in demo mode that was inadvertently activated which resulted in compressor being turned off. Discovered label inside refrigerator that described the condition but was never told of the mode by sales rep. Other appliances seem to be in good working order.

The refrigerator has a lot of nice space, venting, lighting, and storage compartments. The ice maker offers an off button. Because our space was limited, the only negative was that the hinges are extended beyond the actual size listed for the width. Because we love the product, we plan to replace our other appliances with Samsung appliances.

After being quoted $900 to repair my 14 year old side-by-side stainless Maytag Plus, I checked out floor models, demos and scratch-and-dent. What's there to get fired up about on a new fridge? I wanted simplicity and a water dispenser. The sales staff where helpful and explained the newer generation of fridges are vastly more efficient in terms of electricity draw. This one was a scratch-and-dent. I was interested in the best deal on a Samsung or LG. And that's what I got. Cool "column" LED lighting and a nice layout that is not too busy. Best Buy will negotiate so it never hurts to ask for further discounts. This came delivered well under my budget! The "Power Freeze" function is very cool(pun intended). It can make a warm pack of soda or beer cold in about 20 minutes. The fridge compressor is virtually silent. Good job. Hopefully, this thing won't need replaced parts for at least 10 years.

Very easy to set up. Panel controls are easy to navigate. Cools evenly and well. Very happy with the space inside, especially since this model conserves space on freezer by having the bulk of the ice machanism in the door panel. It must make maintenance down the line easier, too. Very COOL!

We've only had this for a couple of months but we're pretty happy with this purchase. I really like the soft light that gradually turns on, upon opening the doors. It has more then plenty of space for a family of 5. I would have given 5 stars but I haven't had the refrigerator for very long.

This unit seems to be built well. There are no flimsy shelves and nothing bends under the weight of heavy items. The only draw back that I have found is that the unit runs a little loud. This may be emphasized due to my open kitchen with hardwood floors. Other that that, it is great.

This refrigerator offers excellent shelf space. There are three drawers in the refrigerator side all at the bottom so there is no longer a lunch meat drawer right in the middle. The doors hold a lot more making it easier to find things. In the freezer the two bottom drawers make it easy to keep all those bags of frozen fruit and vegetables in one place. The ice maker in the door gives you more shelf space.

Love the lights and the space it has, the ice maker is great!

Nice refrigerator with ample storage space. I do wish the ice maker would despense ice a little quicker. Refrigerator was delivered and setup by Best Buy. Once setup during the final inspection the delivery gentlemen did point out some surface scratches and a small dent. The delivery gentlemen filed a report before he left our house and within the day the appliance manager had called us to resolve the issue. Overall this is a nice fridge and I am more than happy with the service from Best Buy.
