We haven't been happy with the refridgerator or the dishwasher. The dishwasher doesn't get the dishes clean so we always have to rinse them off before placing them in the washer. Now, the leak detector comes on after every wash. In order to troubleshoot this isue, I will have to take the washer completely out of the cabinet to check underneath where the detector is located. This just started happening after 2 years of use. This along with the issue of getting dishes clean is the reason for my low score. I would avoid this washer.

Plastic, Poor Drying, Too Sensitive Controls

This unit while meeting the economical limits of our needs turns out to be a plastic piece of cheap. We had to have it serviced after 3 uses - they replaced the entire pump/water assembly underneath which you can guess was nothing but snap together plastic. The unit dries very poorly unless you use sanitize with rinse agent and pop open the door. The front controls can be locked but are so sensitive the on/off is constantly being activated. Additionally, the bottom rack often jumps off the guide, not hard to put back but annoying. The third upper rack is not that useful. I will say it cleans very well.

Most Samsung dishwashers use condensing dry technology. This means that the water gets really hot and turns into steam. Then when things cool down again, and the water droplets form, they form on the cooling stainless steel walls of the dishwasher instead of on your still-hot dishes (although this doesn't work as well with plastic dishes or containers, which cool quickly).

It was pretty quiet and did a good job washing but it didn’t dry well so I returned it. It was good for the price tho. But I had to open the dryer for the dishes to get try. I didn’t like that when I opened it hours later it was a whole lot of water still inside and the dishes were super wet. So for that reason I wouldn’t recommend this dishwasher!

It is a very quiet running dishwasher! A+ on being quiet! When Bill uses his air-fryer & then puts the “washable components” in the dishwasher - after he has washed off these components, he quite often has to run a re-wash a second time. I rinse off each item before putting them in the dishwasher; and everything else has been coming out clean. We use the Cascade brand in the dishwasher.
