The lights blink when turned on and it doesn't work. We replaced the leak detector, hoses and more and still doesn't work. Of course the warranty is expired My last dishwasher lasted 15 years. I see others have had the same issue! So disappointing.

We can barely load anything bc the rack slots on the bottom are so close together. We are a family of 3 and run multiple loads on some days. The front panel constantly gets hit when reaching to the above cabinets. Definitely needs the racks to be redesigned. And the dry option works 50% of the time. Not what we hoped for.

Then it would start blinking stating a water sensing error every few uses. After about 6 months of use, it just became a dish rack. Then 4 years after the purpose, it decides to leak water all over, and my hardwood floor is damaged throughout the house. Please do yourself a favor and do not get this item. It was professionally installed by Geek Squad.

Bought in 2020 and by 2023 the sensors were failing and one of the motors stopped working. Turns out that finding people to work on Samsung appliances is impossible, and Samsung themselves wanted an insane amount of money to even look at it. The final repair would be more than the dishwasher was worth. Do yourself a favor, buy a different dishwasher.

Every time I accidentally lean against the counter/dishwasher to for instance, reach a glass in an upper cupboard, the dishwasher turns the power on. I've tried the child locks and they do not stay locked so there is nothing I can do to change this. I'm ready to break the door off so it will stop turning itself on.

Each time Samsung fights to do as little as possible. It breaks constantly. When it does "work" the dishes come out with a gross film on them. I'm on Bestbuy.com because I have to buy a new dishwasher, which should really tell someone about the quality of this machine if after one year, I have to spend another $600 to get a different dishwasher.

They never showed up then I called to see why and they left a very crappy voice mail. Now 2 months later having the same problem. I would be better off buying another $500 dishwasher? The Jet Dry door broke and won't close. Throws codes daily now even after thorough inspection so I think the sensors are malfunctioning so that the dishwasher will no longer complete a cycle.

Not made to last (or be repaired easily)

The type of repair would seem minor (a hose and plastic part), but the parts are expensive and the placement in the unit means labor is more involved. Cost of service almost will reach replacement cost. Machine was installed in 2019 and so by the time we bought the (new) house it was already out of warranty. Compare to Bosch we had from 2012-2017 with no issues whatsoever. Also, the front control panel triggers with the slightest brush. Wish that were the only issue!

It cleans dishes great but after about a year the leak detector will start going off and you will need to have someone replace it that will cost almost as much as a brand new dishwasher. It's not very quiet, it doesn't dry well, it leaks, the pieces inside are flimsy and starting to break and worst of all it died after only 3 years. Piece of garbage. Please listen and do not waste your money. (Note: we did have this professionally installed by Best Buy so there was no installation error on our part)

Medium size glasses don't fit. Our soap dispenser only opened correctly for about a month. It is usually still closed which could be why our dishes especially silverware is cloudy and food still on them. I rinse and brush off everything before I put it in. It is defiantly louder than our last dishwasher. I HATE that it turns on when I get close to it.

The cutlery rack is best suited for flatware and cooking or serving utensils. You can place cutlery and utensils randomly or regularly on the cutlery rack. For the most effective cleaning, heavily soiled utensils or items with baked-on foods should be placed in the lower cutlery basket. The entire cutlery rack can be removed if more space is needed on the upper rack for more oversized items.

Stopped working and would only throw the "leak detected" error code less than 2 weeks after install. Contacted Bestbuy and after spending more than an hour being passed back and forth on the phone was told that they would not do anything to fix the issue and I had to contact Samsung. If you have them install, don't expect them to stand behind their work.
