So far so good . The monitor is beautiful and graphics are clean. I can run all my games and streaming with ease ! My only wish is that it had built in speakers , but u wont complain .

The Samsung G5 is a great entry way into 1440p gaming! The 1440p looks great if you want that added sharpness (especially if you sit very close) and thats the main reason why i got this. As for the unboxing experience everything was really simple and easy to set up. I was surprised that out the box i only had to tweak the colors only ever so slightly. I have no defects or any quality issues with this monitor! At 180hz its also plenty smooth though response times are not the greatest. All in all im super happy with it and hoping it lasts me many years! My brother has a G4 which has worked without any problems, so it made me confident going with Samsung.

Setting it up was very easy—just plug and play. It fits well on a small table, making it a great option for limited spaces. One of the best features is that you can use it both horizontally and vertically, depending on your needs. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this monitor and would definitely buy it again! Would have like inbuilt speakers.

I’ve been using my Samsung Odyssey G5 for both gaming and streaming, and honestly it’s one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my setup. The curved screen makes a HUGE difference — it pulls you into the game and makes everything feel more immersive, especially in fast-paced games like Fortnite. The visuals are super crisp, and the colors look really clean without needing a ton of tweaking. Performance-wise, it’s smooth. I don’t get that annoying screen tearing or laggy feel, and it keeps up really well when I’m playing and streaming at the same time. That was a big deal for me. I also love the size — it gives me enough space to multitask (chat, stream, game) without feeling cramped. Definitely helped level up both my gameplay and my stream quality. Only thing I’d say is you might need to adjust the settings a little when you first get it, but once it’s set up, it’s perfect. Overall, 10/10 — I’d recommend it to anyone who games or streams and wants a clean, immersive setup without breaking the bank.

This monitor is truly one of the best I have ever owned. The stand is super sturdy and heavy duty and the image quality is incredible. Would recommend to anyone looking for a high quality 1440p experience.

I love this monitor, I have bought monitors in the past that I absolutely hated, motion blur, low quality screen, etc. This monitor is gorgeous, I love the picture, QHD is perfect for a gamer that likes performance but doesn’t want to shovel out 800-1500+ to have 4k at high FPS. 180FPS is perfect and the screen quality will not disappoint! I love the adjustable height and the fact I can flip the monitor vertical if I ever needed to. Overall very smooth FPS good screen quality I would buy another one if I needed it!

I am very happy with my purchase, has the best specs for a Xbox monitor at a very fair price. I was really surprised with how clear and smooth the quality was straight out of the box. Told my friends about it and they all purchased one as well. All had similar praises. Waiting for it to be on sale again to update my work monitor.

I won't sit here and pretend to be a monitor expert. I'm sure you can find lots of thorough reviews deep diving into the specs and offerings and how they compare to other competing offerings. For what it's worth, though, my experience with this monitor has been excellent so far. I have two monitors in my setup so I bought 2 of these to finally have a matching set and the picture quality is great on both. Plus, the stand the monitor comes with has a lot of adjustability options for height and angle. One piece of advice I will pass on to anyone who is like me and this is their first monitor with a resolution above HD: do not pair a 2K monitor with a regular HD monitor in the same setup. I tried and it was extremely jarring to look between the two. So if you have two HD monitors in your setup and you're looking to upgrade one of them to this 2K monitor, I recommend upgrading them both at the same time to maintain the same resolution between displays. Tl;DR, if you cannot afford an OLED monitor, this is your best 1440p choice. Interface: 2/5 Once again Samsung's interface is complete garbage. The buttons are located underneath the monitor for easy access, but the menus don't always work, and the monitor is slow to wake from sleep. Image 5/5 The monitor itself is gorgeous. Color is as good as an IPS panel can get for SDR, with great contrast. Unnecessary bloom rarely occurs except in darker images. Motion clarity is excellent as well thanks to the high refresh rate. Usability 3/5 The stand is great and easily adjustable. Only two inputs is not great, but they are split between HDMI and Displayport, which is good. You also need to download drivers. Price 5/5 I got this monitor for around $340 after tax. I've seen it and its larger version dip into the 200s on sale. For that price, you cannot find a better looking monitor. It is worth the quirks.

I upgraded from a 6-year-old ASUS MG248, and the difference is night and day. This was my first upgrade from a 24-inch panel, and it has every feature my old monitor was missing: a larger screen size, G-Sync compatibility, a higher refresh rate, an IPS panel, HDR support, and a more professional-looking design. HDR mode makes the screen much brighter. The larger panel makes everything nice and sharp, making 1080p monitors look blurry in comparison. It's an excellent choice for gaming and for working on color-specific tasks. Can't recommend this monitor enough. Absolutely worth it for those looking to upgrade!

I just got the Samsung Odyssey G50D 27-inch gaming monitor, and overall I’m really happy with it. The QHD IPS panel delivers sharp visuals, and the 180Hz refresh rate with 1ms response time makes a huge difference in fast-paced games—motion looks smooth and input lag is almost nonexistent. HDR400 support provides good brightness for highlights, though it’s not true HDR and blacks can look a bit lighter in dark rooms. The ergonomic stand is great, with tilt, height, pivot, and swivel adjustments. For the price, this monitor is an excellent value if you want smooth gaming and vibrant color.
