I was also concerned about how loud it would make the washer. there was no increase in volume when the washer was running.

But after washing the first load, I loved the machine so much I decided to do all the washing and drying myself. This washing machine cleans the clothes and makes them feel fresh and soft. I am very impressed. The scientists and technicians at Samsung did an outstanding job developing and designing this washing machine. I really hope I get many years of service from this machine. At this point, I really couldn't be happier!
