Basically bought it because we had one before and it is too hard to reach without it

I bought two pedestals. within a few weeks the washer pedestal started squeaking...eventually the noise became intolerable. Samsung inspected the washer to eliminate it as a cause of the noise and then said it is the the pedestal so it is not covered. I reported the issue to BB, but not until after the 45 day refund / exchange period. BB said it is too late. Tough. Bottom line: the product is faulty (the Samsung technician said it is one of the front cross support bars that is causing the noise) neither BB or Samsung cares and I am out $300. The only advice Samsung could offer was to buy a new pedestal! I think I am done dealing with both of the businesses.

I was disappointed with the depth of the pedestal. I am unable to store some of the bottles because they are too tall to fit. I was hoping to be able to utilize all of the space for this purpose. I think it should have a taller storage space.

We needed a 14 inch pedestal due to a cabinet mounted on our laundry room wall. Best Buy was the only dealer out there that could get it for us. So, we had to pay their price. That being said, it made our pair fit perfectly under the cabinet, and the drawers slide out smoothly. Storage is handy as well. Definite solution to our bending issues when doing laundry. I recommend buying these at the same time you buy your washer and dryer, as installing them took two strong men. I hated the price, but it is worth the money.

I never used them and they were a casualty of circumstance as well. I am using LG and they are wonderful!

I debated for a long time about adding pedestals or not. I'm glad i did. It's expensive but really worth it. it brings the front loading machines to a more comfortable level to be getting the laundry without straining your back. The storage underneath is perfect for all your laundry needs and they look great. Easy to install other than moving the heavy washer and dryer, but even still well worth it!

I purchased these pedestals for my washer and dryer thinking these will not only elevate my washer and dryer but most of all I thought my containers for detergents can be stored in them as in another brand that was demonstrated to us. I was really hoping that they have considered the size of the standard detergent containers (stored standing) were taken in its design.

Washer was level and no Rocking. Put on pedestal and it started to Rock BAD. Removed Pedestal and Rocking went away. Maybe just not stable enough.....Returned

It's unreal how much they want for this piece of metal with a drawer.... like it's metal with a drawer.....

The pedestals are really nice, as they provide additional storage space which is great. It also helps on the back for the appliances to be lifted higher. The only drawback is they are still a little to pricy. I still would recommend the pedestals for both the washer and dryer to make laundry less "back-tiring!"

I bought this mostly to raise the height of my new washing machine. I'm disabled and bending isn't comfortable. Also, in the past year my basement has had a number of mini floods so I wanted my washing machine off the floor. This pedestal is the right height to make using the machine comfortable and it is taller than the past floods. I did find the price to be a little high for such a simple unit. The storage space is fairly decent too.

The delivery date was rescheduled without our knowledge. It has been a month and we still do not have the product.

I expected the base to be a more than a plastic front.

Purchased two when we purchased new Samsung washer and dryer. Has plenty of storage room. The height is perfect. Glides in and out effortlessly.

Basically this is a drawer that holds your washer or dyer up so you don't have to kill your back getting the clothes out and it adds nice storage space.

this is like selling a truck without a bumper, and then overcharging for the NEEDED bumper. this machine sits very low so you really need the pedestal especially if you have back trouble, but they should include it with the washer. also non of my detergent bottles or boxes fit into the storage drawer except the dryer sheets. i am not sure what to store in the drawer now . it is definitely NOT worth the 200.00 extra and feels like an insult to have to pay so much for something that should come standard with the machine.i am only recommending this if you need it. otherwise save your money.

Love what the pedestals do for my small laundry room for storage! The height of the pedestal raises the washer and dryer to a workable height to avoid back problems and make laundry less of a drudge. The pedestals put an end to the line up of detergent (other than the giant economy sizes) and other laundry additive bottles and boxes that are often perched everywhere. The drawer capacity is impressive. I have roughly 6 bottles of detergent and 6 bottles of softener, in the unit under the washer, and a variety of other useful laundry products in the dryer pedestal drawer. At last, clean floor space without extra bottles in the way!

I like the idea of having a storage compartment under my washer. It gives it the extra height for me to easily load and unload my clothes from my washer without having to bend over constantly.. Love the strength and capacity..

If you have front loaders, the pedestals are almost a necessity. It really makes it easier to load and unload. The extra storage space is nice too. Too bad they rake you over the coals with the cost.

Piece of cake to install. love the storage. lift's washer and dryer to a comfortable hight.
