Great Fridge, Bad Ice Maker

Our icemaker constantly freezes over, and have to dethaw it 2-3 times per month! Will be contacting Samsung/Best Buy to see if it can be fixed.

I’m turned off from their products. We purchased the refrigerator as an open box. Loved it! Large enough for everything and enjoyed the flex option. We used the bottom flex as a mini fridge. The compressor went bad, however and the whole entire process was horrific! Best Buy associates went above and beyond to help! It took us forever to select a refrigerator to begin with so we went back to this one. We wish we hadn’t! It is MUCH smaller even not buying the counter depth. Hard to fit things in it like before and we do not enjoy it at all. Even the flex fridge option is difficult to fit things in as we did before. We will NOT purchase again unless they make the larger one and even then we will think long and hard about it. I have all of the dates and times of contacting Samsung. You may or not be shocked at the extensive amount of time spent trying to resolve the issue of just getting an exchange set up through them! Oh and did I mention that we then had to pay more than we did when we bought it in the first place and again it’s smaller! Yes, we got a great deal but we shouldn’t have been penalized for it.

The counter depth is a lot smaller than I would have liked but it's the only way to fit it in our kitchen. You cannot put a 12 pack case of soda in straight on. Love the black stainless but it is still leaving some smudges. WAY easier to clean than regular stainless which is the best thing ever.

Love the 4 doors versus a pull out drawer

It works out great for us since we have a deep freeze. I also love the showcase door. I would highly recommend this fridge.

We are always able to make space for extra food even when it seems that there is no hope. Freezer is great. The best thing ever is what my husband likes to call his mini fridge for beers, of course. The bottom right section can be a regular refrigerator, soft chill, or freezer. It’s whatever you need it to be. If you need a refrigerator, this is it!

I love how much space there is in it we’ve had it for two years now and we still love it

The double door bottom freezer (with the flexibility to convert one to a different temperature) with multiple drawers was a major selling point for us. It's very different from the standard bottom freezer with one or two big drawers that you have to go digging in for everything or the side-by-sides with narrow shelves.

But I called Best Buy right away and the repair person fixed the problem. Otherwise, a great purchase, so just remember to follow up if you have ice! Don't know if 5-year warranty was relevant, but I did buy one and it may have helped with the repair being so effortless and cost-free.
