With enough space to store all your favorite foods, this Samsung refrigerator can be customized the way you want. Use the adjustable shelves to fit taller items, and the FlexZone to move from chill to freezing temperatures with the press of a button.
Q: When was this refrigerator manufactured?
A: Hi Kisco, The RF28K9070SG, which is a new model, and all other Samsung Refrigerators currently produced for the U.S. market use only R134A refrigerant. The original 4-Door Flex model, RF32FMQDBSR, did use an alternate refrigerant for a short time, but switched to R134A in June 2014 to enable the compressor to be serviced more easily if necessary. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung
Q: Can the freezer fit a pizza box? Like digiorno?
A: Depends on the size of the box - if it measures less than 17 1/2 from front to back and 14 1/2 side to side then it will fit . Otherwise no.
A: Thanks for asking this Gman! While the bottom left compartment does have a small selection of temperatures to choose from, it is designed to be only a freezer. ^Jecca
A: I never notice the noise aside for when it drops the ice so it is pretty quiet.
A: My manual says the same thing, however, in the table of contents it clearly has an asterisk next to Wine Rack and Family Hub. Both of which did not come with my model. I would imagine that the manual applies to several different models and if you did not pay extra for the model that has a wine rack, then it was not included. I came here looking to see if I could purchase the rack separately.
Q: I have a wall on one side, how much room do I need to open the doors?
A: You would need to allow 2" of clearance on hinge side of refrigerator when installing next to a wall where handle may make contact. If the wall does not extend all the way out you only need to leave 3/8''.
Q: Can you store 1 gallon milk jug on the door?
A: Hi Darcy, there are 2 spacious shelves on door secures extra large containers (like gallons of milk) for easy access. ^Rosi
Q: do they make this model shorter in height
A: No, we had to cut out our upper cabinets until we gut the kitchen.
