COLD SPACE HEAVEN!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this frig! Except for the 2 dents my husband and son put on the front while moving it in place!!! Oh well, can't judge a book by its cover! I use the lower right flex portion to keep my milk cold!!! And the sandwich meat and cheese fresh. Luv luv luv it! I am a cooker so there are times I need to put large Dutch oven (cooking pot) in frig over night instead of transferring to smaller containers then back to pot next day and the space in top frig is perfect. The shelving on doors is a bit awkward but doable I had to just play around to see where and what would serve me best so be who you are with your frig!! Ex. My left overs go on the left side :) I wish they had offerred a white appliance but stainless is good I just can't put my grandbabies coloring pictures up, magnets don't stick to stainless. My husband loves his auto water on the door. I love that you can jack down the temp for a few hours to get the groceries cooled off quicker...live in rural area and if you make quick trip for essentials you don't want to always bring an ice chest. So, obviously I have NO complaints thus far!! Even though you can't get one that looks like mine unless your family tries to get it through the door. So, let me explain- this is a super big frig the doors extend out a bit- instructions say may have to take doors off to go through door of the home. We thought we had that covered because we actually took the doors off the HOME! And it would have worked perfectly except for the 2 metal brackets for the storm door!!! And the fact that I hollered, "STOP IT DOES NOT FIT!" and they said it did......God is good and I have a large frig that works great and keeps my food at a wonderful temp at all times.

Good refrigerator.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The flex zone on the bottom is a very useful feature. We have a freezer in another room, so being able to have the extra refrigerator space is great.

Great flexability of cooling zones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit has great flexibility with the cooling zones the bottom right door zone can be changed to either refrigerator or freezer with a touch of a button on the front of the door. The ice maker has limited storage so it may come up short with ice needs,

Buyer Beware!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This refrigerator RF28k9070sr has numerous issues. unsafe unstable temperatures in the freezer and in the refrigerator bought from Best Buy 2018. Started with icemaker within four months of install freezing up unit was repaired and then replaced after two service calls. Started to freeze up again after one year warranty expired. Have to thaw out every couple of months so entire unit doesn’t freeze up. since 2022 freezer will stop freezing and everything inside will thaw. Can’t keep any frozen items in freezer now because it’s unsafe unstable temperatures. Temperature control front panel for freezer isn’t accurate. Had have been monitored with a thermometer inside of unit since 2022 and taken numerous pictures to document temperature differences. Since beginning of April 2023, not only is the freezer not always freezing, but the refrigerator has been fluctuating and being in unsafe temperatures. We have to monitor it frequently for spoilage. Have thrown out spoiled food frequently. No longer safe to use. Even if you have an extended warranty, there is no company around to service these refrigerators. Samsung should do the right thing and recall the refrigerators.

Awesome space
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This fridge is a big one, Make sure you measure. Had to be taken apart to get into the house. I wish the door storage was more adjustable. If you do not like fingerprints then this fridge is not for you.

Love everything except nightmare icemaker
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the week after we got it disaster, the plastic push tab for Ice on the front door broke off just from pushing it in to get Ice. the repairman came right out it was great! He had to order the part and when it arrived he came right out again and warned us about the Ice maker. No problems with the push tab since. but once a week the Icemaker gets jammed up with frost, will not disperse any Ice and has to be defrosted, If ignored the entire Ice collecting box becomes jammed and impossible to pull out until it is defrosted, requiring the upper fridge to be emptied into and Ice chest to preserve it so it won't go bad. The fridge shut off so and upper doors kept open so the Ice collection box defrosts enough to pull it out sometime this can take all day or two days, depending on how much ice has been made that is melted and refrosted onto the other components. Once the collection box can be pulled out and the chunked together ice dump, then we get a hair dryer, and a half bowl of hot steaming water and lots of towels to prevent flooding to defrost the Ice maker elements at the top which takes about 45 to an hour depending on how thick the frost build up is, then mop up all the water from the melted frost, clean up emptied the Ice collector and the back of the door, put it all back together again and wait for about 3-4 hours for your first batch of ice. Then we get to do it all over again in another 5-7 days and if you forget to turn it off when you go on vacation, well you get the picture.( #Bad design) When the Ice maker is working perfectly it takes a ridiculously long amount of time to get 5-6 cubes to fall into your glass, my husband loves his ice crushed so you are talking about double to tripple that time. I like crushed Ice too, but with this new fridge I don't have the patience, I'd rather use a hammer like I did in the 60's and 70's. On the plus side, this fridge is huge, lots of options to play tetras for parties, it has served us very well over this covid 19 period where we are cooking more and storing more left overs than ever, that bottom portion that can be turned into a fridge or freezer has saved our butts this month, we have a small freezer in the garage so we just buy bagged Ice for now and are so glad we got this fridge with all this space. We just hat the Ice maker. We love the filtered cold water dispenser though. Our tap water is really yucky, and the filtered cold water from it is pretty decent. we have only changed out the filter once since we bought the fridge in a year and a half.

We settled, but so far so good (for the most part)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had a 3 year old LG French Door with 2 ice makers that we really liked, but the compressor kept failing, so we gave up on that one and set out to find a large, black, 3+ door with lots of ice making capability. Well, no black, did get the large fridge and did not find the multiple ice makers - but, oh well, this is a nice box. It is large, easily accessible, we really like the flex space (you can make it a freezer, a meat cooler, or several things in between). Price on this one was decent, it is quiet, it looks nice. My only major gripe is that the ice maker is slow to fill (in my opinion) and does not keep up with our family's insatiable need for ice. It is not a large ice bin, so, we seem to run out of ice pretty often. It is making ice just fine, just not enough and not fast enough. Otherwise, this is a nice unit (so far) and we are satisfied with it. Delivery, set up, and getting it filled up went really smoothly and happened on time, so I was very happy with that.

Spacious, versatile fridge.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love this fridge. The water in the door doesn't splash out and it comes out very quickly. With four doors, it stays cooler without wasting energy. And there's lots of room inside. The shelves seem to be tilted so they close very easily.

Good fridge, bad ice maker design
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this fridge. Actually, I really like the flex door. I have a large freezer so I use this to keep meat and cheese a little colder than the main fridge. The fridge is easy to use, easy to see the temp and adjust, and works well. I wish the fruit/vege drawers were more flexible with humidity adjustments. The filter doesn't hog the whole back of one shelf and is easy to replace. Now the ugly. The ice maker is bad. It's not the worse I've seen, but it is not good. The double paddle design ensures that you will douse yourself and your floor with water regularly since they are overlaid. That is a terrible design. The auger is very slow at bringing ice forward, but it does not clog. The fresh ice dropping down is very loud, I've never heard a louder one, so much that guests ask what that noise is, it can be heard all over the house. As much as I like the flexibility, I would probably buy a different fridge just because of the ice maker. We use ice all the time, and water too, and this one is just not awesome.

Great alternative to freezer drawer types
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this refrigerator as an open box item but appeared like it had never been plugged in. It works great and it is so quiet. I also love that I can use the bottom right portion as a frig rather than a freezer. So far it has been a month since I bought it and I am pretty happy with my purchase.

Spacious fridge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love the space available on our new fridge. The color and look is very sleek. However, it is not as fingerprint resistant as we thought it would be. The icemaker also is an addition we've not had before but it has proven to be a bit frustrating. The ice comes out and spills out on to the floor every time no matter what size glass or container we use. I would recommend it to a friend for the capacity it affords.

Great Refrigerator
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We enjoy the look of this refrigerator. Love the available bottom door that we use as a fridge instead of a second freezer section (we have a garage freezer so don't need the indoor freezer space). Wish Samsung would have updated the ice maker, as it can't keep up with our demands

great but still has issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the layout of this fridge and the ability to configure portion of the freezer unit. It's sleek and modern looking. There are couple of points that keep it from 5 star review. The ice maker needed repair twice and fingerprint resistance is better than most but still needs a lot of work to keep clean.

The flexibility is so convenient!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The fridge is so spacious. We use the flex quaderant for a drink fridge and only have one section for freezer food we use most often. We have a seperate upright freezer in the garage for bulk frozen food. It works wonderfully for our family! It was so worth spending a little extra.

Good Fridge if you get for the right price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this fridge as an open box item which had a dent on one of the front doors, so got a huge discount for an otherwise brand new unit. The upper refrigerator part has a good amount of space and can fit large items. The storage on the doors is limited and much less than I had with my older but smaller fridge. The lower compartments are separate with one being a freezer and the other being flexible from fridge to freezer which gives you some flexibility depending on what you want to store at a given time. So far no issues with the unit and I'm happy.

Good refrigerator and freezer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review covers the appliance functioning, bestbuy delivery & installation service, geek squad support and Samsung tech support. appliance functioning can be rated 4 star. But all the other three are rated 0 star, 2 star and 0 star respectively. 2 star to geek squad who offered something in return for the damage caused by the delivery service persons. Got this Samsung 4-door open box refrigerator in exchange for a Samsung 3 door model which had big freezer which was frosting too much. Even though the delivery instructions mentioned to detach refrigerator door before moving it in to the house the delivery people were very negligent. I requested them several times but the guys were arrogant and pushed the refrigerator through the door which got stuck and created big scratches on door and more dents. I was angry on them for doing this as the item I got was having huge discount already and I would lose it. They laughed at me and said I can now pay full money and get the replacement. Then through phone calls the geek squad offered either some more discount or replacement of doors. But I required a refrigerator so they moved it in (next day was the housewarming) by removing the door. [still have to contact bestbuy to apply the additonal discount] The delivery guys were technically very weak. After moving it in they didn't connect the wires and didn't screwed the top panel properly because of which the door alarm was ringing every 2 min. The guy simply said call the geek squad and left. All this took away more than precious 3 hours!!! Inspecting the refrigerator we realized that delivery guys wanted to take revenge and didn't complete their job. Called the geek squad to complain about it but they were also not helping! Instead they said it will take 3-6 days for a technician to come and fix it. Just connecting a cable (visible from the side) stopped door alarm but didn't start the refrigerator. However, freezer was working. Looked into the worst manual (it should be called as installers manual and not user's manual) I saw for an electric appliance and had no clue how to start the refrigerator. Called the geek squad again who then connected to Samsung. Really speaking the tech support from Geek squad and Samsung is the worst for this refrigerator. Since I am an engineer who worked on such electric products I knew there is a button or button sequence that is required to be pressed to turn on the refrigerator. All I wanted was this information from manual / tech supports. But no one knew about it. Samsung tried to schedule an out-of-warranty technician visit (for which I may had to pay) for a newly bought and installed refrigerator which I refused! Then I tried few button operations and fixed the refrigerator myself!!! In all it took ~5 hours to install and make it work. This caused us huge delay in preparing for housewarming which resulted in sleepless night! Since I (not bestbuy / samsung) fixed the issue the refrigerator is working good and the temperatures are at correct levels. I wish it works well for many more years considering it was an open-box item. I have taken 3-year additional warranty for this but on the first instance itself geek squad couldn't solve the issue and couldn't support with useful information. Bestbuy should look into this serious issue as customers are paying for the warranty and geek squad support but not getting the good service for the money they pay.
