Last summer, a storm hit our town and my electricity became finicky, on and off a lot. That fried my old GE Profile fridge (29 cubic feet) and I needed a replacement. The new Samsung fridge is a great replacement/upgrade. 1. I have 6 people living under my roof at the time. I need a big fridge. This one is rated slightly smaller than my old GE fridge (28.1 vs 29 cubic feet) but is just as spacious. 2. My old GE fridge has a drawer for the freezer compartment, which gets really annoying because 1) one drawer keeps sliding out, which may have something to do with the uneven kitchen floor, but annoying nonetheless; 2) the stuff at the bottom of the freezer stays for months after months without being noticed. The new Samsung fridge has a "notch" on the drawer rail so when the drawers are fully stowed away, they stay safely in that position. Also, the freezer also has drawers, which makes organizing and retrieving food super easy. 3. The lower right compartment can be customized to other functions. If I need to more fridge space, I can easily change the setting to do so. So far there is no need for that (yet). 4. I like it that water and ice has different switches. In my old GE fridge, it's the same place you press for ice or water, and sometimes if one forget to switch (especially the kids), they make a mess. On this fridge, ice and water come from different switches, and it's nearly impossible to make a mistake. One note about the longevity of the ice maker - turn it off during winter! The delivery guy told me if the ice maker keeps making it and no ice is dispensed, it may cause trouble, and that seems to be a recurring complaint for most of the Samsung fridges. So turn it off when not using it! And it's super easy to do so - a touch button on the front panel. 4. The fingerprint resistance is super nice, much easier to keep the "shining" looks for this fridge than my old GE. All in all, super happy for the "upgrade"! Even though I didn't choose to do so...

This has been a great refrigerator. I like the multiple drawers for the freezer. I don’t think it holds as much as our side by side, but I still like it

Performs great as expected and rated by Consumer reports; Door compartment design is questionable due to some very small shapes which have limited utility.

The only issue we have had with this refrigerator is that it was taller than our previous one. We had to have the cabinet maker alter our cabinets for it to fit in the kitchen. THe flex compartment makes it worthwhile. The ice maker produces plenty of ice and we have had no issues after about six weeks. The design of this refrigerator lights up the interior well and has made room for just about anything we need to place inside. The only downside is that the water will not dispense of the other door is open.

The dual freezer doors, with flex option has been fantastic. We are able to easily find all items in the freezer without digging through a large bin. The ice maker.... fabulous! Water dispenser is very well designed. Very pleased with this purchase.

We had been living with a 10 year old fridge that finally died. Replacing seemed daunting with all the options available. We picked this one with the help of the Best Buy staff at the store. No regrets! The flex compartment is my favorite feature.

We had the flex in counter depth, but it went with the house when we moved . Moved into new house and 28cubic ft went on sale and bought it immediately. We love it and did great buying it from Best Buy. Would definitely buy again.

Not enough space for tall items. Have to sacrifice shelving to accommodate tall items. Slow ice maker

This is great refrigerator. It is the first bottom freezer we have ever had and we really appreciate the flexible bottom right compartment that can either be a refrigerator or a freezer. Great flexibility and appearance. Great product.

Love the fridge, lots of space. Get text about the door being opened. Door is closed. I cleaned the sensor and it solved the issue. ice maker stop working 9 months after purchased. I had to google for help. Keep receipt. Most people LOVE the fridge except for the ICE MAKER ISSUES .

Great looking and great product. Not quite satisfied with the interior layout. Things don’t got like they did in my old one.

We are a big family and went with this after lots of looking around, so much space! We use the flex as an additional fridge. It's perfect!

intially delivery of this product has big dent and Best Buy could able send exchange in 3 days over all very happy with product and service

I would think this fridge is perfect except The one thing that I don't like is that I can't get water from the door as I have my other top door open. I do love all the ways it has to keep everything organized. Over all I love it!

Overall, I love the fridge. The only complaint I have is that it lacks drawers for non-freezable items such as cold cuts and cheese.

we didn't go counter depth, because I just can't get past the "22 cubic feet costs more than 28 cubic feet thing". The fridge has a lot of smudges and the water spurts out of the water dispenser like a firehose. You will fill your water bottle in 4 seconds. It just looks great, and has worked well for the first month. No regrets. However, we didn't get our stinking Best buy points for the fridge and all the other stuff we bought...Is there a manager at best buy that is older than 19? Please send them our way...

An excellent refrigerator. Very spacious and all items are easy to store by various categories. One gets a good quick overview of the contents and all are easy to reach. Very good freezer organization. Set up was easy and status quick to read on the door display

This refrigerator is a replacement for my old side by side GE refrigerator. We picked it for this 4-door design. Usually our freezer is half empty and the fridge is full. With this 4-door design we added fridge space.

It is not only a beautiful product, but has so much room. I like having more refrigerator space since I already have a freezer. I just use 1/4 for freezer. It comes preset which was great. I love it!

This is a great product, very spacious inside and sleek on the outside. Installation was easy. I had to remove all 4 doors due to the door sizes of my home. Still the process was fast and easy. I love the ice maker and the water, I added an additional in line filter because we have hard water and it will prolong the life of the fridge filter. I read a lot of reviews about how slow the ice maker is but I think it is fast for what it's doing. Overall we couldn't be happier.
