    The fridge comes with a screen with apps, none work. will not connect to internet. very disappointing. Called for service they couldn't fix it.

    Ordered fridge (top of the line) w/ geeky touch screen display ($200.00 more than one without). Once delivered, cooled everything just fine. Keep in mind it is a large unit so do your measurements! As a fridge- it does great. My problem was with the Internet connection. It could not detect a wi-fi signal. So... Called Samsung. After MANY (and I mean MANY) calls to Samsung, a level 2 technician advised me to install an Internet booster so the fridge could receive a signal. Did that....no luck. Bought a better quality extender.... Again, no luck. Called Samsung yet again... MANY times to tell the that their solution did not correct issue. Nobody at Samsung would call me back (guess their "technicians" could not remedy the issue so the best way to handle it is to totally ignore their customers. Last ditch effort before I was about to return the fridge, I called Best Buy and they scheduled a tech to come out. Tech was extremely friendly and professional however, was unfamiliar with unit/ problem. However, he manipulated the touch screen and was able to connect the fridge to th Internet without an extender. Seems Samsung requires you to press icons instead of buttons on the touch screen (press far left icons to access features that are not stated in the manual). Fridge now works as it should (however, if you're an Apple user, some apps don't work (propriety w/Samsung and their devises)). And after 1 month of playing phone tag w/Samsung, I am a satisfied customer. The whole ordeal left me with this.....the product is awesome (when operating as it should), but Samsung "customer service" is abysmal. Hard to believe they are an industry leading company with such deplorable tech assistance and I honestly question how they can still be in business. Best Buy however, went above and beyond what a retail outlet should provide. They cared about customer satisfaction, were competent (way more than techs at Samsung). They Geek Squad rep was extremely friendly and professional. I will always buy from Best Buy. They by far make up for the gross incompetence of large, non-personal conglomerates such as Samsung. Kudos and much appreciation to Steve S. W/ Geek Squad ( and everyone w/Best Buyh in The DFW area.

    We like Samsung, but we got a bad deal on this one. From the minute it was installed the water dispenser leaked. It took almost a month, 2 Geek Squad appointments and finally a new door for it to be fixed. We are very frustrated with Best Buy and the amount of water lost. The delivery guys were not respectful of our home. The Google calendar does not sync. But the rest of the fridge SEEMS to be working now, time will tell!

    The ice maker stopped working maybe a year after we purchased it. I contacted Samsung support by email about issue but they never responded back.

    Where do I even begin? Being LOYAL Samsung product consumer, I didn't think I could go wrong with this Samsung fridge. Well, let me just say, they need to stick to TVs and Phones, because refrigerators are NOT their strong suit. I have wasted countless hours and wasted hundreds of dollars worth of food after this piece of junk died after NINE MONTHS. I paid over 2k dollars, and am now stuck with a giant paperweight that they want to WASTE more of my time to try one fix. And since they don't know if that will actually fix it, they will most likely have to come out a second time to TORCH the part out in my kitchen and then repair that. SO onto 2 weeks with no fridge, lets see how many more they try to stick me with. Best of luck if you make the mistake of this fridge too...

    i had my prior refrigerator over 10 years and never had an issue. this refrigerator the tablet has never worked right. i had put in call just after purchase and samsungs response was that there would be an update that would fix it, never had an update and it doesnt work at all now. I started having some issues with the water dispenser not shutting off after a year, i was able to get it to stop before but now the water will not stop. they said now it is out of warranty and will not fix it. do not buy samsung refrigerators , they are faulty and they do not stand behind their product

    Fridge is ok, not enough standing room for bottles, milk,juice. The ice machine stinks. After 6 months it has broken down. It may make ice with no filter, but when I use a Samsung filter it won't make ice. Now it won't make any ice at all. KEEP YOUR RECEIPT. You will need it when this fridge breaks down, and Samsung will ask for it. Believe me they do not want to fix this for free, and make you jump through hoops verifying when, where, how much, how much the taxes were, serial number, model number.... I for one, shall never buy Samsung again.
