A: We also had an existing thru-the-door ice and water dispenser and purchased this refrigerator to upgrade. You do not need a new line. The delivery men easily connected the new line from the refrigerator to our existing water line.
Q: Does this work with iPhones also or just Samsung smart phones?
A: not all apps work with the iphone, the find the phone will only work with an android phone or Samsung

A: Bought in Dec 2015, google calendar app works for now - 3/2016, but not epicurious!!!
A: I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with the Kitchen TV feature on your RF28HMELBSR. It's important that the Samsung TV is a compatible model and is connected to the same WiFi network as the refrigerator. If you've followed the step by step instructions on pages 53-54 of the manual, as well as the troubleshooting tips on page 110 and are still unable to connect, I would suggest calling 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you. Please note that some TVs have a limit to the number of devices they can connect to, so you may need to check the TV manual to determine whether the TV's device capacity has been met. Q: The filter (red) light just came on. What should I do and how do I change the filter.
A: Check the manual however they sell them at most places that carry Samsung refrigerators. You just twist the filter and remove it and to install the new one, just insert and turn to tighten.

A: The day I got mine, the wi-fi worked good for any hour then froze. I called Samsung and they had no clue. I unplugged the fridge, disconnected the wifi and started over and it's worked fine since.

I'm not sure if you're referring to the flip-up shelf next to the ice maker in your RF28HMELBSR or the retractable shelf that can be removed entirely or moved to other locations. The flip-up shelf which is attached to the side of the ice maker with a hinge should be able to flip up to the left so it's completely vertical. The front half of the retractable shelf can be pushed back so the shelf is about half of its full depth, but it can't flip up to be completely out of the way. - Ms. Samsung
