We also had an existing thru-the-door ice and water dispenser and purchased this refrigerator to upgrade. You do not need a new line. The delivery men easily connected the new line from the refrigerator to our existing water line.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as you have previous refrigerator tubes, no need to get anything, its just hooked to this refrigerator.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We had existing waterline and reused it, I don't think you will have any issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Thanks for your interest in the RF28HMELBSR. While it isn't necessary to buy a new water line installation kit, it may be a good idea to replace the line since mineral deposits and impurities can build up over time, potentially impacting performance. - Ms. Samsung
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm pretty sure you don't need the extra kit. My old Electrolux fridge had a water line connection for through-the-door water and ice. Simply turn off the water to the copper or plastic tubing going to the fridge (I found my shut-off valve under the kitchen sink) and hook up the line to the included plastic water line on the back of this unit. The Best Buy delivery guys did the hook-up in about 30 seconds, using only a crescent wrench to tighten the connection. I had exactly the same question and I don't think you'll have any problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Should be able to use existing supply line
