Coolest Refrigerator in the Market!

This refrigerator is the coolest refrigerator you can currently purchase in todays market, the fact that you can listen to Pandora while you're cooking or answer a phone call right from the refrigerator itself, is pretty cool. Another cool feature that I like is the Epicurous application that gives you different recipe ideas and the Google Note Pad so that you can leave personalized message to your loved ones.
No more magnets holding up pictures on your refrigerator doors, the LCD display will do a slideshow of the pictures that you uploaded to its internal memory.
Let's not forget that you can stream Live TV broadcasting directly to your refrigerator from a Samsung Smart TV or video from your android phone. (Wish it had the same capabilities for an iPhone)
Either way, Hands down - this is the Smartest Refrigerator out there.

The fridge is great, and would be even better if the Epicurious would work. Called Samsung and it is not their problem to fix. It is nice listening to Pandora while cooking or doing the dishes. This fridge makes me keep up with news a lot more than before. You cannot avoid reading about a catastrophe on your fridge. With the weather app, picking my clothes for the day is a breeze. It is usually 96% accurate. My wine stays nice and cold, but not many places to store your favorite adult beverages in tall bottles. My advice, drink the whole bottle while cooking so you do not have to worry about finding a place to put it. :) Vegetables and fruits seem to last longer when being in the middle drawer. The ice is not "sonic ice" and sometimes comes out a mixture of crushed and cubed. The only reason the fridge is getting 4 out of 5 stars is because I was looking forward to the Epicurious. I am very disappointed it does not work.

This is such a great fridge I have purchased 2 of them, one at my personal home almost 2 years ago and now again in one of my flip houses. I love it that it lets me know on my phone when the fridge is not fully shut, can listen to pandora and if I had the patience I could hook to my cable
Tv but I watch enough tv already.

I have a much higher expectations on this item, but I was really disappointed when the item arrived, I did not mind the little dents here and there. But the real item had a missing part on the power cord and one sealing rubber piece on one side of the door was missing, so I made the decision to return the item without it going inside my house.

We've had our Samsung fridge for about a month, now. After a recent kitchen remodel, we finally moved our aging, 20+ year GE workhorse to the garage and put in all new stainless appliances. My observations so far:
*Super quiet (Not sure why I've seen some reviews that said it was noisy unless they have a defective unit.) Can barely tell it's running. Ice hits bucket occasionally, but that's normal.
*Entertainment/Info screen - WiFi connection strong and nice to see weather, news, google calendar and notes. Gives the fridge a nice wow factor, yet also informative. Screen resolution could be a little richer as it has somewhat of a washed out appearance. Pandora is a nice touch, but would prefer Spotify (Are you listening Samsung?). The AP News app goes offline occasionally, but I think that's AP...not the fridge or connection. Speaker is a little tinny...but we don't use it much, so not a major issue. Although I really enjoy the screen now...hope there are software updates as apps evolve. While screen and responsiveness is solid, a little leery as to how long the functionality will last...and how much it will cost to repair when that day comes.
*French Door - Configuration is new to us, and has taken some getting used to. I don't feel that milk in the door stays cold enough, so we keep on the shelf. Not a lot of room for condiment bottles in the door, but suffices. It's really nice to have everything visible at eye level...with ample lighting. There is no 'dairy center'...which was nice in our old fridge where we could keep the butter protected. Quick tip: To absorb the 'new fridge' plastic smell, I put used coffee grounds in a bowl for several days straight. Seemed to do the trick!
*Freezer - Lots of space and easy to see everything. Good design.
*Middle drawer - Great layout for our cheeses and deli meats. Nice feature.
*Ice/Water dispenser in door - This is our first fridge with this feature and to be honest, was not very excited about it. Just another thing to break, freeze up, splash ice and water on floor....but I have been pleasantly surprised. Typically I keep a chilled water bottle in the fridge, but have found myself drinking more water in general now that it's in the door...which is always a good thing. Water stream is fast and the cube/crushed ice works well. If you are expecting company, like we had over Fathers Day, I would recommend storing ice in advance...or buying a bag and keeping in freezer, because it can slow down after a few users and most likely can't keep up. Not a show stopper.
Size - One of our main concerns was the depth...and how much it would stick out from the counter. After much research, the 28.2 cu. ft size was perfect for our family of 3...and the 36.5" depth(with handle) was reasonable compared to other fridges with same/smaller cu ft.. Note that with the handles in the middle, the actual unit is only 34" deep...so consider that. Yeah...it sticks out a little, but not worth the anxiety I had over it.
Overall - I know it's early and things are all shiny and working well, but I easily gave this 5 stars. It's a beautiful fridge with stainless that matched our GE Profile wall oven/micro and Bosch dishwasher. Best Buy delivery and install were great and pricing was awesome over Memorial Day Sale. Only bummer was that it is now listed for $300 less during 4th of July Sale. Being an exclusive item the other big boxes didn't even carry this model...with the exception of one (Nebraska Furniture Mart) which was $1K+ higher! BUY THIS FRIDGE! You won't regret it.

Our experience of our recent purchase of the Samsung Refrigerator with a tablet in the door was a bit frustrating. The fridge is very nice, has tons of storage, but has a few issues. Some of them are not with Best Buy in particular.
The delivery guys stated they could not get it through our kitchen door, (after we measured it in the store) even with the doors removed, so we tore out a section of our doorway! The second delivery crew said they could have moved it in with no problem, so 4 days of cleaning plaster dust later, the frig was installed. Be sure you have at least 33 inches of clearance to easily get this fridge in your kitchen, and that is with the doors removed, which is not a problem at all, so if the delivery guys tell you it is, they are not telling you the truth!
There are a few minor cosmetic issues that have yet to be resolved, and a missing water dispenser tray yet to be delivered to us, but all in all I love the fridge. It does make a lot of noise and is the loudest fridge I have ever had, but even at that, it is not annoying. The shelves that slide in for storage of taller items, as well as the shelf that flips up for storage of taller items has to be used if you are not putting milk or juice containers in the door. There is just no way to adjust the shelves to accommodate taller items and not make another shelf very shallow in height. That actually cuts down on some of your storage space, but since I do not like to put milk in the door (I don't think it's ever as cold), I will opt to use the flip up shelves. You still have a lot of space, regardless.
The tablet in the door does not have Bluetooth, and you cannot surf the web, but it does have some really nice apps on it, and you can play Pandora radio, check the weather, or view the latest news stories, which is really nice. It helps to be a little tech savvy, but I would say the average computer user could easily set up the tablet.
I'm just telling you my experience with the new fridge and being very particular, but overall, I would tell anyone they most likely would love the fridge. It is very nice looking and has tons of space, and I really like the tablet.

Best deal best refrigerator! After spending 2 days trying to hookup the wifi (with no help from samsung) it was my internet connection setup at home that needed fixing. Samsung KITCHEN TV works!

So after reading many Reviews complaining about the TV function not working I still went ahead and purchased this awesome fridge. It is replacing a Frigidaire Gallery which has had too many issues to list in the short two years we had it. So the easiest way to get the TV function going (as long as you have a Samsung TV) is to hook up your TV using a component cable. For DirecTV or cable you can still get HD images using it. I will have to say the image on the fridge looks amazing! So what if your device doesn't have component out? There is a HDMI to component converter you can get from the big river or rat shack. That will work! Make sure you go into the Samsung TV's menu and set up the WiFi Direct so it sees your fridge. If you are having issues still make a comment here and I will be more than happy to help. Hope this helps.

I know what you're thinking. " Wow this is an expensive refrigerator "! I was thinking the same before I purchased this item. Im not rich, but buying this refrigerator and seeing it every day makes me feel like Donald Trump. It instantly improved the way my kitchen looks. I mean having a Screen on your refrigerator is one of the coolest things you can have i you're house, by far. Oh yeah best part, its actually more energy efficient. Pandora works great. You can even link you TV to it. Thank you Samsung... Thank you. And I checked everywhere to see who had it cheaper and Bestbuy blew every other competitor away. Because of Best Buy I saved over $1,000 on this purchase.

This fridge was a great purchase overall! It has lots of room and I was so surprised at how many groceries I could fit in it. I never had extra room in my fridge before. The screen is great, however the sound quality is not the best. I use the pandora app a lot when I am cooking dinner or doing dishes. The fridge is quiet and looks great. The ice maker is really my only complaint. It doesn't hold as much ice as my old refrigerator and it seems like it takes a while for the ice to come out. Again, not a big deal. Overall the fridge was a great purchase for the quality and price (I got it on a 4th of July sale). The only other negative is fingerprints! Thankfully I don't have any little kids around, but you definitely notice fingerprint marks if you touch outside the handles. The stainless steel wipes work GREAT for cleaning though and is an easy solution!
Delivery on the other hand was AWFUL. When my fridge was delivered the company hit my wall several times on the way up and damaged my wall. My fridge also had a few dings in it. Best Buy did take care of the issue but it took FOREVER to get a resolution (I got my Fridge in July and didnt get a resolution until September).

Samsung - 28.2 Cu. Ft. 4-Door French Door Apps Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless Steel
We recently purchased the above refrigerator with smart WiFi access (to play Pandora, get weather checks, read news highlights, watch TV, etc.) and LOVE this new purchase!
It is quite roomy inside and this model had all of the features we were seeking (adjustable shelves, glass material shelves, one shelf even folds up to accommodate tall bottles, etc., excellent interior lighting, terrific middle "deli" drawer with four temperature settings, and a nice lower freezer section with two shelves, one of which slides back to let you access the lowest bin easily). The water/ice maker works fine and the whole item is pretty quiet. We would definitely recommend this product from Best Buy and purchased it when they were having a great sale.

This fridge is really quiet. There are no scary sounds when making ice. The touchscreen feature is awesome. I was able to connect it quickly to the wifi, as well as customizing other settings. No problems about the wifi distance. I just had it for three days, and everything is working excellent so far. I'm love with my fridge, for now.

This refrigerator is great! Besides the touch screen panel, the refrigerator has so much room and the stainless steel finish looks really sharp. We love the middle "flex" drawer. We typically keep this stocked with 8oz water bottles or soda cans. We opted for this model (with touch screen) because it was on sale for cheaper than the model without it. I have it configured to sync and display my google calendar, as well as play Pandora radio. If you have a Samsung phone it looks like there are other features you may be able to use. I wish this worked a bit closer with iPhones, but since it is a Samsung appliance I understand why they wouldn't want to do that.

Excellent product. Very content that I selected this product. Spacious and for the techno-geeks, this refrigerator can get onto your home network and be monitored from your smart phone (from anywhere in the world!). Key for me is monitoring the water filter health. The LCD touchscreen on the front door is an added bonus. Eliminates the need for putting up paper memos, plays Pandora music, shows AP news, your Google calendar, recipes from epicurious and what not. Coming back to the product - the additional space and the 3 section compartments was a much needed for my large family. Exceptionally quiet operations, make this a highly recommended purchase. We are enjoying this product and I firmly believe so will you!

Most everything has worked as advertised. We love the tall ice dispenser. All of our biggest cups fit under it. And I love the separate ice and water levers. The ice bucket is small but it seems to make ice fast enough that it isn't an issue.
Our only complaint so far is that the Epicurious App has never worked. It always says can't connect to server or server issue.
But my wife loves using the Pandora app on the fridge. Just push a button and you have tunes. It works pretty well.
Hopefully we never have touch display issues cause everything is controlled through it.
Time will tell.
The fridge itself is very nice in size, space, functionality and looks. We like it!
Best Buy had a price that was too good for us to pass up since we were wanting a bottom freezer with dual door fridge on top. The lcd touch screen was just an extra. ,

If I were to only review the Refrigerator features, I would have given this purchase 5 stars... Awesome flexibility on configuring storage options(sliding shelves, folding shelves drawers, etc...) This is why it lost a star:
1. Constant wifi connectivity issues(Reset fridge every 3 days) The entire house is connected, Fridge is the only device that cannot keep a connection.
2. mirror mode options are limited to Samsung products and cannot be configured to work with other brands.
3. TV options must be used with a outside antenna . Who does that?????? Pointless option in modern times.
