The LCD screen is fun and is more use full than you think it will be. Slide out pop holder in the middle is great. Freezer is too deep and you forget what is on the bottom, you need a shelf or something.

Very good looking fridge, modern and top of the line in technology. This is the quieter fridge I have ever had, and very spacious interior. This toy can be customized in so many ways and has many features -if you're not much into electronics then this is not really what you want, you won't be able to get the fullest potential out of it-.

We have had this fridge for few days and we like the touch screen feature. We play Pandora through it and it is great. It also other features such as weather and other apps which helps us to know what is going around us. I have used the app also, and it is OK to connect the fridge. It makes some noises, but I guess that is part of the fridge. We had a side by side and so this feels a little different in configuration. We could stuff a lot of stuff in side by side not so much here, but overall still the fridge is nice and we are keeping it

Very nice fridge with great options. I very like lcd screen. I hoped for more space for bigger objects, you need to solve some puzzle to fit them in the fridge. Ice maker is little noisy, you can hear it even from other room when ice cube drops.

We love this refrigerator. It has plenty of space to fit everything and the touchscreen is awesome. I love being able to see what the temperature is outside without turning on the news. We have used the Pandora app, which is a neat feature. We haven't figured out how to remove the ice bin, so that is the only drawback we've experienced. Our friends are very impressed when they see this fridge.

I really like the fridge but it won't stay connected to the Internet. You have to hit the reset button to find the network again. Firmware or software fix needed from samsung.

I love my Samsung refrigerator. While cooking I listen to Pandora, and once in a while I happen to glance at the screen and see my grandchildren, bringing memories to the heart. The middle compartment and upper freezer compartment are a plus for storage, and easy access. Best investment I've made.-Teacher

Had no intention to buy a refrigerator with this many bells and whistles but the price made it a no brainier. Love the middle drawer. Ice maker storage is a little small but will freeze ice in advance for bulk usage. Very satisfied so far.

RF28HMELBSR, Trying to connect with Samsung Note 9, through Smart Home, but it shows:- "Check the country code of your Samsung account, and try again. To register the device, make sure the country codes specific to user account match between you and the first device user." Tried to register this product on my account but message shows "Possible reasons for the error include serial/IMEI number is not valid, product is older than 3 years, product was purchased outside the U.S." Please help me to resolve this issue

I didn't realize when purchasing the fridge, that you needed at least a Samsung S5 or a Note3 to sync with the display. It is great for the calendar and note taking feature. Speakers a little lacking in sound. Ice maker makes plenty of ice for a family of 5. We love it!

The fridge is great in size. Very large compartments. I was not aware that you cannot use all the apps unless you have a Samsung phone. I would hope that Samsung can get an update so that other phone users can use the mirroring option as well. I was nervous at first because of the height 68.88 which is 68 7/8 because I have a cabinet right above the fridge at 68 7/8 and was not sure that it would fit under the cabinet. It fit perfectly. The delivery guys were very helpful. There was a scratch on the side probably from placing inside the box before shipping. Best Buy did due diligence to resolve my concern. When reading some of the reviews there was a comment about water dripping. My delivery team made it clear to run a few cups of water to get all the air out of the lines and that worked just fine for us. We are very pleased. I only selected 3 stars because I cannot use all the apps on the fridge. Hoping for a Samsung update and if that happens it would be a 5 star.

This fridge started out as such an awesome neat purchase! I mean come on, a fridge with WiFi and touch screen! I could even play Pandora. That was all fine and well till on 3 separate occasions over 8 months the touch screen stopped working or responding. Not such a big deal except its the only way to control all temps and settings. Then the cooling fan part went out on the ice maker TWICE causing it to stop making ice or making minimal ice, like seriously maybe a cup a day. Lastly, the flap on the area where the ice comes out, doesn't close or seal properly, so ice melts constantly causing water to collect in large quantities and flow down the front of your fridge. this does things like cause water marks and streaks, but it also makes the middle drawer buttons to change its temp, STOP working from water damage. We had to literally keep a small hand towel in the tray to soak up the melting ice water. Since the screen went out three times during warranty, we were eligible for the "lemon/junk out" policy. they gave us back our purchase price, tax and party of what we paid for the warranty(thank god we purchased that!). Allowing us to pick any new fridge we wanted. We could have upgraded and paid the difference but we lucked out and scored an excellent deal on an LG side by side model with great reviews. Plus we saved $450 so we were able to purchase the warranty on new fridge just in case and still have best buy store credit of over $200. DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE EVER, SHOOT DON'T BUY SAMSUNG FRIDGES EVER AS THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM!

Overall good fridge, Best Buy delivery service and installation was pretty good. I found there is one issue where in the Wifi connection of the fridge disconnects pretty regularly and when trying to manually connect never finds my wireless network. It should definitely have a option to restart the screen which will resolve most of the problem ultimately its a tablet. Tried the Samsung Smart Home application but it always crashes and I am not able to sync with the Fridge so the app is useless. Needs lot of improvement in terms of Smart feature.

Very happy with the fridge itself, but the install process was extremely painful. Prior to finalizing an install, I would highly recommend confirming ALL details of the installation as our install was not completed on the initial scheduled date as I was informed by the contracted THIRD PARTY (not Best Buy) installer that I needed to have a shut off valve for my water line on the same level as my kitchen (my shut off valve was in the basement).

I investigated many refrigerators before deciding upon the Samsung RF28HMELSR, This product offer most of the features that we were interested in from a technology point of view. The monitoring system of the refrigerator support WIFI, however, it does not allow the user to log on to the internet. So, should you wish to investigate for example, a microwaveable meal utilizing the Smart code, you'll need to log on to the internet using a another device,

I bought this with a complete set of appliances. All new, all Samsung, all from Best Buy. There was even a FREE TV offered when you bought a full set. Now I'm not going to lie I wanted the TV in the refrigerator. I knew it was a gimmick and would probably use it never (currently the displays in tv's are too small for more practical use) but the ability to see the weather, a clock, current events (force news on the kids), notes to one another, personal calendar, etc. were all "cool" things to play with. Now the dumb about this "smart" fridge. First of all the FREE TV offered was too old to connect to the fridge, well that makes sense give something for free that won't work with what you bought. I then buy a new T.V from Best Buy which, now get this, is too NEW? The fuh? After hours on the phone with Best Buy and Samsung we thing we have it narrowed down that we need a Samsung Smart TV that is a series 6000 manufactured in 2013 or 2014. The free TV was a 5000 series and the new TV was a 6000 series manufactured in 2015 ( I bought that one because the first few hours of my life on this issue resulted in buy any 6000 series TV. They failed to mention it had to be made in 2013 and 2014). So now the hunt begins for a diamond in the rough. Best Buy does not sell a 6000 series made during those magic years, or Newegg. Final thoughts. I think most of the dumb about this fridge is an accoutrement around the neck of Samsung. We should never be surprised when selling is really the point and not the commercials or speeches, questionnaires, and surveys that claim a good user experience is their top priority. If so, who bundles a free TV with an appliance that won't play nice with that model. Also where is the firmware update capability for this smart TV, it doesn't exist which means this tech just gets dumber over time. Also why are new TV's not compatible with a current flagship model fridge with tech. The reality. This unit keeps your food cold and your pizza frozen but it's not very smart beyond that. Maybe I'm just wanting the future today.........

The looks are great and the design inside the fridge is accommodating. Though the only grip I have is some of the apps are not working and when I put pictures on the slide the default pictures apear along with my pictures. Other then that the fridge is beautiful. Great job samsung

There is a lot of space in this fridge and the middle rack can be used as extra space for either the fridge or freezer. The ice maker is a little slow to produce ice.

Love the drawer, it keeps drinks very Cold. Love the LCD screen, my fiance and I leave messages for each other, we listen to pandora, let the photos scroll thru, overall very happy.
