I bought the fridge after doing extensive research on it. I noticed it was going on an awesome deal for black Friday and decided to give it a try. We looked at several different options and I chose this one because of the space and drawer and freezer capacity. The ice maker in crushed mode is a little lagging, but overall no complaints. I've only had it for 3 weeks now. .

Really like this fridge. Great size with adjustable shelves. I have yet to run out of space in the fridge. Freezer could be bigger though. Very quite and fridge and freezer stay at required temps. Negatives: water dispenser doesn't work if one side of door is open and ice isn't real hard and has a cloudy white tint. Also difficult to acces back of upper freezer shelf.

This fridge has plenty of room in it. I also like the LED lighting. They give off a better light and fuller light than the standard bulbs. If there was one thing I could complain about it was not knowing how the doors opened. On our other fridge the doors at the hinges swiveled in as you opened it. This one the just rotate out making the fridge about 6in. wider.

From an everyday use standpoint, I think it works pretty decently. I have enough space for everything, no issues with temperature settings. My thoughts would be that function wise, it wouldn't be any different from other refrigerators in its class. The biggest draw to me was the wifi lcd screen. It is not anything spectacular, but just a nice extra. It is just interesting to get random news updates without intending to do so just by walking around the kitchen. I don't think the screen itself justifies a higher price, but I got the refrigerator on sale for more than 1000 dollars less than its original price, so I am happy. Before I bought this, I read some reviews about connections issues. I did experience that once, where I needed to reconnect to my wifi. The other times, the AP news feed app was the one with issues and not wifi per se, but I thought it was the latter at the time. P.S. there are other functionalities that I was not able to test because it required a samsung galaxy s5 phone which i don't have. Haven't tried the pandora app as well.

Bought this as an open item on sale, could not be happier! This thing has So Much room it's amazing and the display packs tons of cool features, syncing into from phones is limited to android devices (shocker). Temp controls and lighting are both amazing, my only complaint is not being a be to snooze the door alarm and that just me looking for something! Be cautious of your home door size, Fridge is very wide and a bit of a pain to take apart!

I have the 28 CF 4-DR W/LCD APPS MODEL: RF28HMELBS the first frig they delivered the calendar work fine but the delivery people damaged it so they delivered another one and now I get the error "Please check your email in Google Calendar website" I just got the frig yesterday and I remember the first frig it did a firmware update when I first powered it on. This one with error didn't do a firmware and it's on 1.145. I have a ticket out to Samsung but i get the generic answer that's from the manual I read other people having the same issue https://productforums.google.com/forum/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=footer#!msg/calendar/UhfpcwO0X0c/zG3op3-v3iIJ

Fridge is nice... Love the ice, crescent but not real hard like my previous ice maker... Fridge has a low hum (the 14 year old fridge did not) that I noticed when quiet in the house... Not loud or bad, just noticeable... Getting to crisper drawer is a little awkward as you have to hold the door full open to fully open drawer...

Love the fridge, fantastic storage and everything works better than I'd hoped, there were a few small things that did catch my attention. 1) The speakers for the pandora suck. It sounds like they ripped the speakers from an old flip phone and shoved them in it. 2) there's no such thing as fully crushed ice and fully cubed ice. In the crushed ice setting you get about 75% crushed and 25% cubed. And in the cubed you'll get about 75% cubed and 25% crushed. Not sure what's up with that. But I'm assuming most people wouldn't notice that too much. All in all, love the fridge. But if you're getting it just for the pandora, I'd think again.

A lot more room than my side by side. Not sure how needed the smart screen is, but its nice to turn on Pandora radio while cooking. Only negative, the fridge occasionally runs very loudly. It's not all the time, at first I thought it was my dishwasher.

Spacious with a lot of options. Love the fourth door. High tech, I listen to the news while cooking breakfast and music while cooking dinner. Bright and well lite runs very quiet as well. Tons of space in the door. The ice door could use a better design as could the layout of the main fridge compartment.

I absolutely love this fridge! The middle drawer is great for our 3 year old to access "her food," and the configuration options of shelves in the top allows for really smart storage. The stainless steel is prone to fingerprints, but I wiped it down with extra virgin olive oil, and it really helps minimize fingerprints.

Love the space and the fact the shelves in the door are adjustable. Memo pad could use some work since you can't edit a memo but other then that I would recommend this fridge to anyone.

First let me say, I love this fridge. It's fancy with cool bells and whistles. I use Pandora all the time. But the mirroring of your Samsung tv is a joke. You can only mirror your tv is you use an 'antenna'! Now who in 2015 with technology this uses an antenna?! Come on Samsung! What a joke!

    Excellent Fridge, with a gimmick

I went into Best Buy looking for a large-capacity side-by-side unit and ended up with a french-door, WiFi-connected model. I first laughed at the need to include a WiFi connection in a fridge, but changed my mind when offered an approximate 45% discount off retail pricing for an "open-box" unit. The original purchaser returned it for another model and I was the beneficiary of the return. All in all, it's a very good model, though I've had for only a month. It has lots of capacity, excellent LED lighting, seems quite quiet and has long warranties for certain parts (like 10 years on the inverter compressor). The WiFi connection and associated display is essentially a gimmick, and a number of features will only work if you own another Samsung/Android product. However, I received such a great discount, this feature, though somewhat useless, was essentially "free". One cautionary note relative to the middle refrigerated "drawer" just above the bottom freezer compartment. It's way too easy to forget something is stored there, so I would suggest using it for sealed products with long shelf-lives (such as soda, wine, beer, yogurts, applesauce/mixed fruit containers for kids' lunches, etc.). It's way too early to determine whether this was a solid purchase, but I also bought a relatively inexpensive Geek Squad 5-year policy to cover any needed repairs. I rarely buy extended warranties, but became more paranoid after my very expensive Electrolux side-by-side completely died at 5.5 years of service, necessitating this purchase. Kudos to the Best Buy delivery folks who hooked up my water supply/ice-maker connection, configured the WiFi and gave me a quick product tour. Also, thanks to the Geek Squad who came out shortly after installation to replace the mangled plastic rollers on the bottom of the unit that allow it to slide in and out of the fridge compartment in my kitchen.

The refrigerator has lots of room and has adjustable shelves that makes it very accommodating for large items. The only negative is the freezer develops a lot of frost if you have it full. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.

I love this refrigerator. The size and placement of all the shelves and drawers make storing food easy. The display is clear and bright. The freezer has a secondary pullout drawer which is convenient. I just wish I could pair my iPhone to it...you have to have a Samsung!

We had the previous version of this fridge as well with the LCD screen. This refrigerator is basically exactly the same as the old one, but the software is slightly different. I actually preferred the home screen of the last one as the current weather conditions were more prominent and easier to see at a glance. Connecting to a Samsung TV has never worked properly, and the as of the last S/W update, the calendar just started working. Hopefully they fix the bugs with the mirroring of the TV screen soon. It's a great fridge otherwise.

Love this product. Was kinda scared because of past reviews that said it was loud. I. Didn't even know it was on kept checking to make sure food was cold. The ice/water unit does drip after using but I'm ok with that. Best buy guys installed easy with no problems. Wifi was easy to set up mirrored my galaxy note 4 with no problems. Great product overall.

The refrigerator is very good at maintaining set temperatures in all compartments. Lighting is great, all areas are very well covered. Nice to have drawer for common items without having to open bigger refrigerator doors. It would have been nice to have an actual Samsung touch device, with swipe and more common tablet functions. Writing notes is poor, many skips in the line even with a stylus. Shelf spacing leaves much to be desired. We always have flip up shelf and sliding shelf stowed to keep taller items in the refrigerator which really limits available shelf space. Gallon milk jugs were difficult to remove from door, so that area is used for condiments. Upper shelves are high and it is hard to see all items on the shelves. Ice maker works well once it got going. Poor user manual, leveling was cumbersome, no way to raise back end. Display screen looses internet connection and needs to be reset daily.

This is the best refrigerator I've ever owned. I would recommend it to anyone in the market for a new Fridge. One of the finer points is the crushed ice, just like Sonic ice if you know what I mean. The freezer part is very large and very well planned out, The middle pull out drawer is absolutely perfect for canned drinks, with a set temp of 33 degrees. The refrigerator part is also well thought out with the water filter in the very front in between the two crisper trays. Very easy to get to........Plus the fact is plays music, keeps me updated on world events and the local weather from the WiFi enabled infotainment center is the frosting on the cake. Yes its a little on the pricy side.....YES I WOULD BUY IT ALL OVER AGAIN!!
