• Check the manual however they sell them at most places that carry Samsung refrigerators. You just twist the filter and remove it and to install the new one, just insert and turn to tighten.

• Hi PattiKate, Instructions for replacing the filter and resetting the indicator light can be found on pages 86-87 of the User Manual for the RF28HMELBSR which can be downloaded as a pdf file from Samsung's website. The compatible replacement filter for this model is the HAF-CIN cartridge (Best Buy SKU #9923128). Thanks for the question! Ms. Samsung

• The filter is in the middle, lower, front of the fridge and you just turn the little bar handle and turn it to remove the old and put in the new.
