Can't review because item was delivered fully damaged.even the plug was ripped off.now best buy wants us to pay $350 more for a replacement. Apparently since our item was an undamaged open box we now have to pay the difference for a new item since there are no more open box items. In the meantime iam in a new home we purchased with a 5 mth baby and no refrigerator

Don’t buy Samsung. The ice makers freeze up and the replacements will as well

Purchased this refrigerator on Black Friday. Lots of space and convenience. Love the quick access drawer for common items like soft drinks, yogurt, etc. Freezer is nice and deep but the top drawer makes grabbing frequent items super handy. I high recommend this refrigerator, but wouldn't buy one with this touch screen "tablet" interface if I had it to do over again. While the display panel looks cool, it is completely useless. I wish I would have just gotten a normal one. The allure of a handy device like this was quickly lost after trying to use it. The majority of the "apps" only work if you have a Samsung Android phone. The others are half-baked and frustrating. The photos app seems simple enough – add photos of your family and it plays a little slide show of your photos. That would be great except it comes pre-installed with photos of food that you can NOT delete. So while you're enjoying photos of your family, you are also forced to see unwanted photos of random food shots. The Epicurious app doesn't work at all. I contacted both Samsung and Epicurious about it and they blamed each other. Epicurious updated their servers, but Samsung never updated the app to work with the new system. Plus there is no way to update the apps yourself. The TV app only works in conjunction with a Samsung Smart TV, which I have, but only lets you watch live TV. So if you use a cable box connect via HDMI (everyone), then you can not stream that to this device. Ugh. You can't delete apps or rearrange the icons so only the functions you use are visible. Its a completely useless device. Save your money and get the step below this unit with the regular interface.

Ya I had this refrigerator for less then a month and already feel squad has to pay to fix it the LCD screen broke after two days of having it if that says anything

Item was sent back as I was informed on site I would need to hire a plumber to connect water. If I had known this at store I would have opted for refrigerator without door water. Truck driver should have reported this. I am in shock you are not aware of why product was refused and returned. I feel your sales people should be notifying customers they have to have plumber connect the water for water through the door connections.

Ice maker stays broke, Could fan noise !! Terrible !!

I’ve had this refrigerator for 5 years. We have replaced the touch screen twice.

I spent a lot of money on this refrigerator. Now the Apps no longer supported. I think that we customers that purchased this fridge should file class action suits against Samsung or Best buy since the functionality we paid for has changed. The smart screen is now useless. We paid for these apps! This is bad!

I have been having leaks since 2 years now . The smart hun doesn’t connect to Apple phone as well Not worth the money

The app in the refrigerator not functioning properly or not be able to connect to the internet. Samsung customer support is the worst I ever seen.

icemaker freezes up constantly, is slow when it is thawed out with a hair dryer every week, ice cubes jam and freeze up in the tray, don't buy!

We've had this 6 or so months now and it is great. My biggest problem is the ice maker. Being an Ice enthusiast I am very disappointed. I may get whole cubes 50% of the time. My 22 year old Whirlpool did a better job. Other then that, plenty of storage and it seems to keep food fresher longer.. And then there's the WiFi, everything is better with WiFi... lol

We purchased this since it had the TV in it but since it doesn't work and the geek squad can't figure out why, I wasted my money.

Only goo thing about this product is that it is discontinued.

If you are looking for refrigerator with lot of space , nice expensive looking and great performance then this is it However Im far from impressed with the LCD and the APPS . -Epicourious forget about it , it is not working , not connecting at all -Pandora is ok but the speaker sound so cheap that make it impossible to listen to it Forget kitchen Tv .. Unless you are using an air antenna it is not possible to link the Tv .. Who had smart Tv , WIFI and a smart refrigerator but still use Air antenna to watch Tv ? Ph mirror .. Works cause I had a Note 5 butwill not work with any other brand or older ph , also not very useful Weather is Ok Note remainder is ok news app is ok NOw the biggest disappointment with this "smart refri " The tongue you press to dispensed the ice and water is all full of scratches after just 3 days of use NOt light scratches but deep ugly scratches , and this is only after 3 days .. In a moth I wouldn't be able to read which is water and which is ice I cant believe this happens with a $3600 refrigerator .. A simple solution for the factory would had be to use a hard acrylic base on top of the metal .. Overall ... Like I said if your are just looking for a good performance with great space refri then get it but nothing else is great about it BTW I paid $2000 which is a great price and it is the only reason I dont take it back to the store

2 week review: Love the space, fridge and beverage draw provide a lot of flexibility for food storage. Great interior lighting, very quiet and so far ice maker is running fine. I find the water is not very cold coming out of the fridge but maybe I need to tweak a setting. I read a number of reviews that knocked the LCD control "interface", i was a little weary but went with my gut and so far we're happy with it. I am purchasing a refrigerator not a computer so my expectations were not high for this feature BUT it easily tells me where things stand with the refrigerator (temp, ice etc) plus the widgets I really care about like the weather, pandora, ability to post electronic notes is right in front of me. It's like hanging an ipad mini on the door. There are a number of other widgets like recipes, news etc we could pull up but we're not that interested..... again it's a refrigerator. I am not a super Tech-e but it was easy to set up and the WiFi is fine. Having a little issue with the seal on the freezer but think that has something to do with the handle not being put on properly when it was delivered. it's causing a little frost where the seal is not 100% and BestBuy is sending someone to look a it. Not a deal breaker in my mind. So far, happy with the purchase. will update after a little more time if I remember/find the time.

Well, I had the previous (exact same) model the 4289 HARS. The freezer sensor fell out and got caught in the pull out freezer door. Done. Needed to be replaced. So I naturally went with this model, exact same but "newer" screen and slightly slimmer ice maker. Well, so it seems. I noticed something as I put all the food from the old into this new one. Most condiments didn't fit. Why? While it is hard to tell, the shelves are all smaller. They milk one is small it only holds milk, nothing slim behind it like the old one did. The depth on all the drawers are strangely narrower and when you close the fridge you can see they could have extended it out at least another few inches. The shelves above and below the ice maker (which should be bigger with the slimmer make) are actually smaller too - and the middle one has useless slim area for what? Nothing fits there, NOTHING! The freezer has a smaller big drawer too and even the long bar that you can store small foods in the freezer is more narrow and holds so little. All in all, this is a very pretty fridge, love the middle drawer (which is so dumb the center piece that slides does NOT lock) and the handles are great. The LCD lighting is actually improved. But the screen is a total gimmick. Mixing high tech with low tech. It connects to a TV! (Wait, it has to be samsung and not attached to a cable box? Huh? Part 2015 and part 1995?) It times out all the time and the volume at its highest is NOT AUDIBLE FYI. Really? The rest only work with galaxy phones and they removed Picasa? Why? I wish I had the 4289 Model that is 3 years old back, it was actually an "update" to this new "downgrade." Despite it saying it is actually slightly bigger in square feet...If it is, it is less "usable" space than this. GO with the 31 Cu Ft non sparkling water samsung. It is whisper quiet though. I wish i bought that one instead. The only reason I am not mad at samsung is i got it at the good sale price...but It's a big disappointment. Samsung seemed to actually take a big step back on this one. Taking something really good and trimming it....for no good reason.

We bough this Refrigerator not because we needed a new one but our old one was 14 years old Our Sons both have a Samsung and they loved them and every time we stayed with them Everything was nice and cold (BEER) and has a lot of room for Parties and extra food for our stays All I have ti say is that you will not regret the purchase of this unit

Storage and Flexibility of moving shelve Pandora and Color Screen amazing Excited about the wifi technology, not excited about the freezer burn. Had to replace the fridge in two days. Ruined everything in the freezer. Called Samsung and they want to service the Brand new refrigerator with remanufactured parts, we declined the offer and exchange the item with the local store. The new unit, again... is freezer burning..... Called samsung about the issue, they would rather have us return the item!??!

The fridge works great, nice presentation, works without noise, I enjoy music, and all the App. Great room for all kind the food and drinks. But the water coming out of the dispenser is not cold.I am very happy with my purchase.
