    Everyone loves the look and size of my new fridge. It provides a lot of storage. Unfortunately, after 2 days of installation, I had to have a technician come to replace the defective app screen and I had to call Samsung to have them send me an end piece of the freezer bar handle that popped out. Very frustrating to have to deal with. Still waiting for the part to come in. The fridge does look very nice in my kitchen aside from the problems I experienced.

    Refrigerator too loud

    I bought this refrigerator almost a month ago. It's a beautiful, large refrigerator but it's really loud (louder than my previous refrigerator which was 16 yrs. old). I went back to Best Buy to report this issue and since it's been more than 15 days now they want me to deal directly with Samsung instead of Best Buy. They said they will create a record and send a Samsung repair technician to the house. I would think that after spending this amount of money, Best Buy would respond in a better way. To top it off I didn't receive any reward points for my purchase.

    Refrigerator ok Display is terrible

    I recently purchased this refrigerator and the unit is great except the display and the Best Buy reps knowledge. I got the fridge home and connected to the internet and the TV would not work. I went back to Best Buy and was told oh you need to have a Samsung TV to connect to the fridge. So I purchased the 6 series 4K 55" $1300.000 later it still will not connect with the error "tv not available". The Best Buy in Avon Lake ohio knows nothing about the digital screen and said they would help me but still no resolution. This was a waste of $1300 for the additional TV and a waste of 2K for the refrigerator. I could have saved $600 on the model without the digital screen.

    My best purchase ever. I had the fridge for two weeks now and it is still fun to use. I mirror my room TV to the fridge and continue enjoy my favorite tv show in the kitchen. I love Pandora as it is loud enough from the built in speakers (The TV sound is faint). There are 2 options that I cannot use because I don't have a Samsung cellphone (the phone mirroring and the phone dialing.) The Google calendar is a great feature though it is still in its Beta release. Overall. I am very very happy with my purchase. The fridge cooling features are amazing and the food remains fresh.

    like everything about the fridge except that to display TV you need to use coax. if your receiver connects to your Samsung tv via HDMI doesn't work. need up update the software or something maybe in the future. not sure.. very well lit, quiet, lots of space, very impressive looking. speaker inst loud but expected that overall very happy with the unit just disappointed in the tablet a bit.

    LCD does not work two hours after delivery. Samsung couldn't troubleshoot told me it was defective to return it. Best Buy told me that I woul have to wait twenty days to replace it. Water spout drips and is spilling over the edge. Ice doesn't work. Best Buy customer service couldn't even fix the problem until the day after delivery because the system can't generate a return. 1st and last appliance purchase from Best Buy. I waited 8 days for the first delivery and now 20 days to replace. Save the headache, the competitors have NEXT DAY delivery and superior customer service which is crucial when you have a problem. I will never make ANY purchase from BEST BUY again. Absolute failure/disaster during the holidays.

    Fridge seems to be working fine (2 months)-cooling , temps etc except the epicurious connection never worked and now Samsung said it has discontinued that vendor , The other features work but now I wonder when their support will be stopped and we will have a very expensive 4 door fridge.

    LCD screen froze on the second day

    We got the fridge couple days ago. On the second day the LCD screen stopped working. I shows a screensaver and when a door is opened, it shows the home page, but I doesn't respond to any touch. Since all special features are controlled by this panel, we can't use anything except for the fridge itself. Called Samsung, they weren't able to help. The tech guys called and scheduled an appointment in 3 days. So, basically for a week we can't use any options. Our choice of the fridge was based on this "computer". The fridge itself is beautiful and nice, but now I'm worried for how long we'll be able to use it if LCD broke. It's not a cheap toy

    I am writing this after having for almost 2 years now, enjoy it even to this day. just thought sometimes the wow factors wear out, but this item helps with music, recipes , reminders, calendar. Great Fridge at right price. This item I bought with store manager made me a best buy lover for life

    I bought the prior year model. Hopefully this model and Samsung's quality is much improved. I also purchased Samsung a oven, washer and driver all based on the customer reviews but found the overall manufacturing quality to be extremely poor against my experience with LG and GE applicancesI have purchased in the past. When my fridge arrive the doors were about an 1/4 off alignment from one another. The wifi connection was horrible and I had to wire my house to install an extra router right next to it and still would loose signal time to time if I walked in between it for too long. The touch screen is horribly inaccurate and unresponsive at best. I get better response from grocery store checkout screen. Only apps that are worth having are Pandora and the on screen weather and time as it is too slow and screen accuracy is so poor. The doors also make a squeaking sound that gets louder over time. Don't expect to open the fridge door without notifying the whole house. Also the warning sound to let you know you left the door open is extremely quiet you don't even notice it unless you are standing right next to the fridge. Overall the quality of the fridge looks cheap. Sad to say this is their flag ship fridge. I would have expected much for the price tag and it being their flagship. Save your money and shop for a $1k version.

    Music on pandora disconnects all the time. Unless you have a Samsung phone you can't link your phone to the refrigerator. I have an iPhone 6s and it doesn't work with the fridge. Overall the fridge is great. The technology needs a lot of work.

    I really like it! It looks great and has the WOW factor when people see it. I have had it a week now and have the screen saver set to alternate between weather and news. I don't need it to do anything else like google cal or notes. I would be nice if it could download apps but I knew it didn't do that. MAKE SURE YOU MEASURE!

    The fridge is OK but the screen doesn't work (doesn't turn on, have to reset it all the time, disconnects from Wi-Fi or freezes). Had to go to the store to exchange it, horrible BestBuy service (it took them 3 hours and 4 people to process that), very bad delivery service (they didn't know that they have to take it to the third floor so they had to come back twice and still decided to take the doors off, no wonder the screen doesn't work!)

    Nice Fridge but built in LCD not thrilled

    My old fridge has a dedicated IPAD to control my Sonos, Camera, Weather, ETC. I was expecting the LCD to be able to download apps since it's like an android device. Unfortunately, you cannot download any new apps to top it off the only thing I can actually use is the google calendar which doesn't work. It's a wow factor when friends come over little that they know that the LCD is just for show. Its better to purchase an IPAD mini and attach it on the fridge. I'm debating if I should return this fridge and just get the one with no LCD save me $300.

Since the technology used to provide the apps for the Refrigerator is different from apps available for phones and other devices, it isn't quite as simple as being able to download from the Play Store. That said, if you're having issues with the apps that are provided, and are unable to resolve them by reviewing the instructions and troubleshooting tips available in the user manual or on Samsung's website, please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to help troubleshoot. In some cases, it may be necessary to contact the content provider, such as Google, for assistance with your account.

    Difficult to change water filter

    I have and my Samsung refrigerator for 1 year and I have had to change the water filter twice. Be aware that to change the water filter you must pull the refrigerator out to turn off the water valve. This is difficult for me as I have back issues and I am in my 60's. First of all the refrigerator does not roll out easily. Second, after turning the water valve off, I cannot get the used water filter out. It is stuck. I cannot lock it back in place or remove it. And as the other reviews said the refrigerator is noisy. Very disappointed, I would not buy again. I expected more from Samsung….come on guys you can do better!!!

    Good Fridge bad calendar app

    The refrigerator is laid out nicely good space and lighting. The middle drawer is very handy for deli and juice boxes for the kids. The lcd is more of a novelty and the calendar app does not work. I contacted samsung about this and about a week later got an email stating to contact google calendar app, which is who? These apps are customs apps for the refrigerator not found in play store, as stated by ms samsung. Just dont expect much from the apps on fridge or much help getting them to work. The fridge would be great if you could connect with the play store and use it like a samsung tablet or phone.

      I'm sorry to hear you aren't happy with your Google Calendar app. These apps are not in the Google Play Store because they aren't Android-based, but it is still a Google app that communicates with your Google account. This is why it's suggested that you contact Google for assistance.
