I only bought this fridge because it has a "smart" screen and what a mistake I made! I paid over $3k for this fridge and its nothing more than a regular fridge because the smart part doesn't work! You can't even go on the internet or download new apps, the weather app stopped working years ago and now there has been a message saying the news app will be discontinued as well. Your supposed to be able to connect your cable tv to the fridge and be able to watch tv on the screen (would be nice while cooking) but nope doesn't work, never has, i doubt any one has ever been able to get it to work. Honestly im mad and I want a portion of my money back for not truly being a smart fridge. DONT BUY

We purchased this refrigerator 14 months ago (March 2015). The touchscreen no longer works so basically, the refrigerator and it's "cool" features are useless. I called Samsung and they were not helpful at all saying it is out of warranty. As much as you pay for these things there should be better warranty coverage. I will never buy Samsung appliances again.

Over 200k members on facebook have proven this fridge has problems. Ice maker freezing up and drains not working so ice build up and food poisoning

Good LCD screen

I was delighted about this refrigerator at first. Until the time for the delivery. Once it was arrived and everything was installed, the screen kept on freezing and I had to keep on unplugging it to have it reset. The rest button did not work . On top of that, google calendar does not work. Should have just trade in with my old model with the old model. This LCD does not work at all. TV does not work. The only functioning thing is the radio and the AP news which I don't really care much for.

If I could give a -10 stars I would. Do NOT buy this fridge. Every since we bought this fridge we have had over a dozen repairs from one flaw to another. Samsung customer service is useless. Thank goodness for Best Buy protection. I will NEVER buy anything Samsung!
