Beautiful fridge. Fit perfectly. My only gripe is the refrigerator door is extremely heavy after stocking it.

Too small of ice space does not provode good amount of ice!

Last night this refrigerator flooded my whole kitchen. All of a sudden it started leaking water from the water dispenser. I had to eventually shutdown the water supply to the refrigerator. We have lost total confidence in this product. All this happened after we had a geek squad person look at it couple of day ago for the same problem. The refrigerator started leaking water one day, it was not bad that day. The water leaked a bit and then stopped by itself. The geek squad person took 10 days to show up. He could not find anything wrong with the unit. I am going to be returning this thing ASAP.

Bought this bad boy on Memorial Day weekend sale when they had a Samsung promotion for $300 off for Best buy members. We went into the store thinking of getting the French door models as those seems to be the current fashion trend but the wife doesn’t like the middle insulation bar on the French door models so we went back to the tried and true side by side model. Being a “showcase” model, this one definitely attracts attention at the showroom floor once people realizes there is the extra special door to open other than the typical two doors. While we were doing the paperwork to pay for our purchase, it was funny to see the various reactions of people’s reaction to the special showcase door. If you have small kids, having the showcase door will be easier for them to reach their snacks front and below on the bottom. If you don’t need the “wow” factor of showcase features, you can save yourself few hundred dollars in getting the non-showcase model as the interior functioning isn’t that much different than the other high end Samsung or other models. You are paying a price premium for the new technology/design. If you care what exact temperature the refrigerator and the freezer is at any given time, the LED display will tell you anytime the door is opened and you can program it to reach a specific number, not just turning a knob on a scale of 1 to 5 a la some other models. Personally not having the door handles like a typical side by side gives it a more clean cut look as there is nothing that protrudes out but that is more of a personal preference Keep in mind this is a fairly big refrigerator. It barely was able to squeeze into our front door and into the kitchen via a long walk around loop. So be sure to measure the dimensions of not just the kitchen area but the path to get to the kitchen form the front door. The 35 plus inch depth will preclude it from closing in via the other smaller doors (like the door into the house form the garage door). For some odd reason, Best buy/Samsung is pricing the larger 28.7 cubic feet the same price as the smaller 21.5 cf model. So as long as your kitchen can fit it, get the bugger size as you have a much deeper refrigerator to store the food.

This product stopped keeping temperature within 48 hours and we couldn't get it to cool down past 50 degrees. Ice didn't refill once initial cubes are used up.

I fell in love with this model, I liked the idea with the showcase door. We got this refrigerator installed at our new home on July 2015 but we didn't move in until September 2015. Within one month after we bought it, the water dispenser stopped working...I was very disappointed. I didn't have a problem with the Tech to fix it, he did a well done job...but getting it fix before we used it??!!!,,,,sad very sad! Another issue is the ice maker machine is loud, specially at night. Over all, I'm ok with this product BUT too expensive for the its quality.

Pros: Nice easy to clean stainless steel finish. LED lighting is great and the touch panel is easy to use. Plenty of fridge space for a family of 5 and shelves can me rearranged. Love the thru the door feature! Deli and crisper trays perform as advertised. Cons: Thru the door feature can break if trying to open main door while outside door is open.

No too happy with this fridge. The showcase door is great. But right off the bat we had trouble with the ice machine not making ice. It took 3 tries and 1.5 months for the Geek Squad to get it right (good thing we bought protection plan). Also there is about a 5 second delay in dispensing ice. Once you're out of ice (let's say due to family gathering or hot day) it takes a long time to fill up again. The Shelves in the fridge itself are awkward, with not too many options to move and rearrange to meet your food packaging needs. I regret the purchase!

Works and looks great. My Mom's fridge went out so I bought her this one and it works great and the delivery team was nice and installed the fridge with no issues.

The grab and go door is a great feature. Useability of entire product has improved the efficiency of my household.

We didn't do much research on this fridge. Thought the Soda Stream would be great!! Wrong! ! We already had a countertop unit. So many issues with the Soda Stream. Don't expect a lot of carbonation even on high. It will fill your 1 liter bottle 1/2 way and you wait 30 minutes for it to recycle to finish the bottle. We have had fridge since March 2014 and we finally got Samsung to refund money to buy a different unit!! Fridge has lots of room and love the middle drawer. But if you love Soda Stream, buy a machine and save your money!

Who knew bells and whistles came with refrigerators? This one is amazing, I love it! Quite an upgrade.

Don't walk, run away from this refrigerator. After just 6 months, have a $2,000+ paperweight. The refrigerator side doesn't cool at all. 2 service calls and home visits later and no resolution. If it works when the technician leaves, that's all they care about. The service center is an exercise in frustration - 2 business days before anyone will call you and even schedule a repair - what a joke!!! If you like pretty - this is the appliance for you. If you want functional - buy another brand.

nice front view, easy to store any thing and great power consumption.

I bought this fridge not even full 2 yeas yet,. It broke down. The surprise reason is its computer. We called Sumsung custom center and the representative answering doesn't speak English well, we even cant understand him. It is very disappointing. We thought Sumsung was a save brand to be trusted!

I love the outside door to look inside the door and pull out items. I would like to see the door shelves be adjustable.

The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Fridge was missing the drip tray which goes under the water dispenser. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Samsung customer service but they will not send me one until I send the sales receipt in along with other information. After I do that then they said I have to call back to have them order the part so more time gone over this matter. Most products can be registered with the model & serial number but not with Samsung. I would not have purchased if I had known it would not be missing a part and will stay away from Samsung products in the future. Other companies are more than willing to send parts when something is missing from a new product but not Samsung. This is a small most certainly inexpensive part but no help from Samsung.
