This TV is great, but the Smart Hub is absolutely terrible. Every time I turn on the TV it takes a minimum of 3-4 minutes before it connects to my wireless network and the smart features work. If you click on an app too early you get a message saying something like "Preparing TV, please wait..." During this time, I can walk into my bedroom and disconnect my Roku 3 from another TV, reconnect it and have Netflix playing on the Roku before the TV is ready to stream anything. Once it does finally connect it freezes and buffers far more often than the Roku. If you supplement streaming content every once in a while it could be usable, but cord cutters stay away unless you are planning on connecting it to another streaming media device. As a TV I have zero complaints. The picture quality is great and the sound is impressive for such a small TV.

We originally purchased a Westinghouse 28 inch for the kitchen, returned it to Best Buy because of sound and paid a bit more for this set. For what we want it's great, it gets a GREAT picture and the sound is acceptable (no small sets have great sound). I generally like Samsung TV sets (we have three) and this one is no exception. Picture (Great), Sound (OK), Smart TV Functions (A bit sluggish), HDMI inputs (only two, OK for our purpose but a minimum anymore is three), no VGA/DVI input or 1080i/p (again OK for a kitchen but I like to have the ability to use as a monitor if needed) Remote (OK), fit&finish (Great). Overall I am happy with the set but I think Samsung could have done a bit more with the inputs and resolution.

Great price for this TV which includes Wi-Fi and is smart. Love to watch YouTube & Netflix without having to go on my laptop to get a decent screen size.

I got my first smart tv a year ago. I hooked it up to my roof antenna as well as online via an ethernet connection. I can watch free channels over the air as well as get all the cable channels with an app as well as other things such as youtube. This has been my best tv ever.

I purchased an LG originally and realized that the LG does not have a web browser. Returned that one, and purchased this Samsung, which should have been my first choice from the beginning. I'm VERY happy with this TV. Highly recommend.

Only owned this TV for a couple weeks now but so far i've had zero issues with it. Easy to set up. Simple to operate. I'm a college student with limited space so i needed a 28 inch set, unfortunately 32 inches was just too wide to fit where i needed it so I bought this one and it serves my needs very well for the price point ($209.99). I only need it for video games and movies and it does that fine. Image quality is good enough for me, and with a simple adjustment the colors are pleasantly deep. I like the remote as well. But that's about it. I'm not impressed by the speakers. They're not bad but i could see some people deciding to buy a sound bar along side this tv. However one important detail, if you're buying this tv specifically for the SMART function than i'd encourage you to keep looking. I wasn't looking for a SMART tv so the function is just a nice bonus but its not great. Plenty of other televisions do it better but of course they're also more expensive. All in all, good tv. Nothing special but if 32 inches is too big for you and/or you're on a budget, i'd recommend this tv.

I am very please with the picture quality and ease of use. So light and handy to move around. I use as a second monitor for a laptop also using HDMI connection. Works great.

Put this little workhorse in the kids' room. With Netflix, hulu, flixster, etc., there's no need to add another cable box. Super economical option. The next episode in a series begins automatically, and it shuts off automatically, too. Great TV!

Very satisfied with this purchase. Just the right size for my bedroom. Love the smart capability. Needed to tweak the sound and picture settings a bit, but it now sounds and looks great. Bought this as an "open box", and couldn't be happier.

I purchased this TV as a Christmas present for myself. The picture is great and it is the perfect size for the bedroom. It is easy to assemble and the Smart TV is a great bonus for accessing the vast libraries of HBOGO and youtube.

Went to Best Buy to purchase the 24 inch Samsung, which I already own, but they were out of stock, so I upgraded to the next size, the 28 inch. Turns out to be a better fit for my space anyway. Easy to set up, including screwing on the base. Connected quickly to the Internet, Netflix, Amazon, and working as expected. Great value for a smart TV, comparable price to other outlets, including on-line. I much prefer walking in and purchasing a TV versus ordering on-line.

My daughter purchased this Smart TV for her brothers 18th Birthday. ..Not only was he completely shocked.. he absolutely loves it. I am definately going to purchase another one for my daughter by Christmas :)

Great Tv but slow when accessing apps but when they are on they work very well. They also need a bigger selection of apps to choose from. Being a Samsung you would think that it would be able to access more apps like starz, cinemax , and other cable movie networks.

I am very happy with my 28" Samsung SmartTV. This size is in between the smaller 24" and more common 32" sizes and fits my application perfect. I have it installed above a doorway in the kitchen, so it is the perfect size (measured before purchase). With a SmartTV in the kitchen, it is easy to pull up recipes from various web sites and have it easily readable from the workspace.

The Samsung UN28H4500AF 28 inch "Smart" TV and Samsung HW-J450 sound bar cannot be operated by only the TV remote. I contacted Samsung online and confirmed. The Samsung representative also stated that no software updates are forthcoming to fix. So, two separate remotes are required for my two Samsung products. One of the reasons for purchasing both Samsung products was the belief that both came with compatible remote capability from the "Smart" TV. I feel like the rating of "4" is justified and it probably should be a "3", but the TV and soundbar are great in performance. It's the overlooked details by Samsung that are the big disappointment.

I purchased this TV only having experienced samsung phone's, it is just as good if not better than their phones. Picture is crystal clear, sound is excellent, I find no need to add an additional soundbar, set up is easy, Exceptional features. Never had a TV w/the IR option, it was even easy to set up, and works great! I Highly recommend this Tv.

This TV has a great picture and decent sound. The selection of apps is very good, but the apps are a little slow to load.
