Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This refrigerator was purchased in September 2021, but not delivered until February 22, 2022. It is now December 19, 2022, and we have been without a working refrigerator for almost 1 week. It started out with a large humming noise back in November, and Samsung was contacted, sent out a repair person who brought the wrong part and the required part had to be ordered. Almost a week went by and we heard nothing from the repair company. On December 12,2022, our refrigerator stopped cooling completely and all of our perishable items had to be discarded. We contacted the repair company and no one could come back out until approximately 5 days later. Keep in mind, this is the same company that came out initially and we heard nothing about the ordered part. We contacted Samsung and was given the run around until we firmly requested another repair company, to which we had to contact directly regarding availability to get someone sooner. The new repair company came and indicated there are a lot of issues with Samsung refrigerators. We are still awaiting a new fan but we’re told that within the next year we will likely need additional repairs. It is very disappointing that a new refrigerator we have had for less than 1 year is giving us so many problems, and Samsung has not once offered to just send a replacement even though from the sounds of it, we will likely have issues with that one too. Do yourself a favor and invest your money in another brand!!
