    Began having issues after 3 months. Had to request repair every 2-3 months for the first 18 months. Attempted to utilize the “lemon law” but was denied. After 2 years the entire unit has now gone out. All my food is spoiled and I can’t get a service appointment. I’ve been trying to get service for THREE days! I bought the extended warranty from geek squad (THANK GOODNESS) or I would be out thousands more!! I’ve attempted service with geek squad and Samsung with no success. I’ve been on hold with geek squad (5th time now) for 40 mins as I write this. Absolutely HORRIBLE unit and horrible service from Best Buy!! ZERO stars should be an option.

    The only reason I bought it was because I thought it had the camera's to look inside but it does not.

    We ordered a GE Profile range and the Samsung refrigerator, both to be delivered on the same day. On the day of the delivery, we received a call that one of the appliances did not make it on the truck. So we had a missed delivery. Then after rescheduling, the refrigerator arrived with a huge side dent and a noticeable "dimple" on the front panel. And, despite a guarantee from the Best Buy home adviser, it did not fit the designated spot. We had to hire someone to come in to sand the top of a cabinet and then reorder the refrigerator. So I had to empty and refill the contents twice. And to top it off, my hickory floor was significantly scratched/dented with the range install. A complete nightmare! Would be almost impossible for me to recommend BB to anyone.

    first one the ice makers leaked and the replacement had problems the the screen turning on way after any of the doors were opened

    Inside camera doesn’t work!!!!’

    The main reason I bought this fridge is for the inside camera view, it hasn’t worked since it was delivered. Samsung has been able to find anyone to repair... very disappointed. I would buy another to replace, but this model is not available presently.

    I urchased this Fridge approx 5 years ago.. @ the 3 year mark, the freezer did not work anymore. defective design. @ the 5 year mark the compressor don't work any more. i would only recommend for the 4 doors and TV display not reliability

    A Transformation of Utility

    I’ve always been drawn to products that attempt to integrate technology to expand and improve the utility of the device. Many products fail spectacularly by only making a shiny object that does little more than burp out beeps and boops. Others only complicate the design or deliver a hobbled outcome of elevated usefulness. It is uncommon for a product to successfully deliver a hybrid of the fundamental utility (in this case, a fridge/freezer to keep food fresh) and expanded utility when combined with modern technology. The Samsung Family Hub fridge in its latest iteration is well along the path toward realizing that vision. The 28 cubic foot Family Hub™ 4-Door Flex™ Refrigerator (RF28N9780SR/AA) we purchased is a beautiful showcase in our kitchen. Its stainless-steel form is modern and sleek and the large 21” display seamlessly adorns the front panel. It begs to be touched and not just to open the doors for a cold beer. With two small kids running around I did not expect a stainless-steel appliance to fair well against their greasy little digits. While it does a decent job to repel the markings, you will find that it requires a daily wipe-down. Thankfully, it cleans easily with a micro-fiber towel.] The 28 cubic feet of volume is the right size for our family. There is plenty of room for more than one gallon of milk and the flexible shelving helps to accommodate products of different dimensions. We haven't found ourselves moving the shelves around but loved customizing the. The interior is also brightly lit with cool tone LEDs making it easy to find any items tucked away in back. The bottom left dedicated freezer compartment includes slide-out bins that are way more practical than the deep-bins found on French door models. One of our previous French door units had a big pull-out freezer on the bottom and once a year we found ourselves digging in only to find forgotten goodies and mysterious Ziplock bags of something unrecognizable. The drawers provide easy access to items, so you are more likely to consume your frozen goods and not throw things away. The built-in cameras are great, but don't forget to remove the protective plastic before viewing them! Once we removed the tape the image popped! I can imagine this will be useful to look inside the fridge without opening door. We couldn't be happier with this fridge. It looks beautiful, has amazing technology and the flexible compartments are superior to any other design.

    Samsung support is awful

    Samsung repaired the refrigerator a few weeks earlier and it was sitting in my garage for 2 months without being used, finally decided to use it but it did not work again, I called customer support and they sent a independent company to repair it they charged me $108 to tell what they thick it is and they can not guarantee it will work so that was a waste of time and effort. I was a diehard Samsung fan not anymore nor will I buy your appliances. I have removed all from my home Samsung I hope that you better your customer experience in the future, this is wrong and unacceptable. After reading all the negative reviews online about the refrigerator I wish I would have seen before my purchase. I had to spend over 22k to replace my appliances and 8k on televisions I still use your phones until someone makes a better phone. Thanks a lot from a former Samsung consumer!
