A typical ice cube from a Samsung fridge should be a cloudy white color and be shaped like an orange slice. Samsung ice makers use rapid freezing technology, which traps small amounts of minerals, oxygen, and nitrogen inside the ice cube, giving it a cloudy appearance. Therefore, it's normal for the ice to be white and foggy.

The ice maker can make 10 pounds of ice a day; it can only hold 2 pounds of ice at a time. Once the ice bucket is full, the ice maker will stop. The ice maker can make approximately two trays of ice every 3 hours.

Not the best buy... No pun intended
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't buy this fridge. The filter is very hard to put in and the fridge is extremely difficult to clean. You're not able to lift up the bottom layer right above the draw pull it out and clean. That means, if anything spills there you're screwed and it stays there forever.

Its an awesome refrigerator. the 3rd drawer is great for drinks and the wider water opening lets us finally get large mugs and water bottles in for fill ups. overall very happy!

Middle shelf on right is retractable and can flexibility for storage. The black stainless steel looks great. We have had great experiences with Samsung appliances and I expect this fridge will be no exception.

Great French Door

The middle drawer is so versatile, as I've had extra milk, drinks, cold cuts and veggies fit perfectly in the drawer and stay fresh. I struggled for years to get ice from my previous LG and no issues whatsoever. It also has the best compressor warranty, so i didn't purchase the extended warranty, as that's what always goes bad.
