  • Icemaker will stop working.

    WARNING!! The icemaker in these Samsung refrigerators will freeze up and stop working within about a year of owning the fridge. You'll need to either use your warranty or use a hairdryer to defrost the inside of the icemaker every few months. Look it up - it's a known issue. Totally ridiculous.

    The Samsong 28cu. ft 4-Door French Door refrigerator was the right refrigerator for us. We look through several styles and pick this one. It just happened to be on sale. It seems there is never enough fridge space, and this model maximizes convenience and space. We've only had it a few weeks now, but we love it.

    I am not completely satisfied with my selection. The ice dispenser is slow dispensing the ice especially the crushed ice which I love. We don’t even use the crushed ice. And I did not realize I was not getting the dual ice maker which I really wanted. I do like all the storage in the fridge however. I had been told I could still exchange it however none of the stores in my area have the black stainless dual ice maker in the size and style I have. I had the black LG BUT IT WAS NOT STAINLESS all the way thru and the black film started peeling badly yet I loved the dual ice maker.

    This refrigerator is perfect for our needs. Shelves adjust to give more tall space when needed, and though we’re using the flex space for produce, it’s nice to have the option of more freezer space. Lots of space inside, icemaker works well, SmartThings app connection is a plus since I use SmartThings elsewhere.

    Great refrigerator! We love it. The only problem is the ice dispense slowly. However, the ice that is dispensed on crushed or cubed is perfect.

    Works quite well... has lots of storage space in refrigerator, FlexZone, and freezer drawers. Best Buy's delivery and installation people were prompt and did a great job setting up the new fridge for us.

    This is a nice refrigerator. I am happy with this one. There are two things I don’t like. One is that the shelves are not adjustable, and second, the ice maker is a bit noisy when ice cubes are dropping from being made.

    Love my new refrigerator. Larger ice machine is a must. If you use the crush iced in the door watch as this often causes ice to stick in the door. Love having the freezer on the bottom. Freezer is a great size. I had a 24 year old refrigerator so this is definitely an upgrade.
