It moves along the floor, the nice delivery guys levelled it and we have levelled it a dozen times since. It is so heavy to push back in place. Also when you turn it on, start it or when it ends it plays an annoying melody, and finally the door won't stay open when not in use, so at times it can smell if I haven't used it for a day or two. You might think I live on a hill but I don't. I would prefer they take this machine away, but my husband insists on it being his fault that it's not level and he is a joiner.

With much research on washing machines, Samsung and LG got the best reviews. I went into Best Buy and spoke with a salesman and asked which he preferred better. He told me the Samsung. And I needed a washer THAT day and they had one in stock. So I took the Samsung home the same day. Setting it up was easy, and I was so excited to have something I thought would work. I particularly love the speed wash/quick wash feature if you need something done that isnt really that dirty. Boy was I unsatisfied. The clothes came out smelling terrible and not cleaned at all. Then I put those same clothes back in and set it to the normal wash, THEN to find out that that cycle takes 1 hour and 58 minutes!!!! HOLY MOLY!!!! I am a mother of 2 with a household of 4, and 2 dogs. I DO NOT have time to wait on laundry for that long with how much laundry we have per week. When I had bought the washer, my children and dog were sick at the same time, I put my king comfortor in there and it came out with chunks still all over it. Then I put in a set of sheets also with vomit on it, only 1 set of sheets mind you, and it STILL came out with chunks on it, and that was AFTER the 1 hour and 58 minute cycle. WOW. I called Best Buy that VERY instant and I told them how much I hated this washer and they ordered me the LG instantly and it would be here in 3 weeks. I couldnt wait to get rid of this piece of junk. BUT the one perk it has, is that it is quiet and easy to function the buttons, but I dont like the layout of the functions.

I purchased geek squad plan and they still were not able to fix the machine. Came out 6 times and pieced it together. Sounds louder than the older machines. Will only last 18months before breaking

    Great first time Front Loader

Picked up this Front Loader from BB on their pre Blackfriday sale. Glad I did. Very easy to use and all cycles work great. I wanted to have it for a few months before I wrote this review to make sure I give it a fair assessment. Like I said before easy to use, clean, and maintain. My only issue is I wish it had a light inside the washer drum for those dark clothing items. But I knew that before I purchased it. Also don't forget to wipe down the rubber seal around the door and the door itself to prevent mildew at the end of your daily wash. I hope it stand the test of time because my previous top loader only lasted one year. But just in case it doesn't I put a 5 year warranty on it. I hope this review helps everybody looking for a good washer.

    Hands Down Top Notch

Some of the reviews were negative so I really did extra research before plunking down my money. I found a deal for $600 each, washer and dryer, and snapped it up during the Thanksgiving discount window. I know I saved 50% over the previous price. I measured carefully because I stacked. The stacking was super beneficial because it gave us room to make a little laundry basket/folding area where there was none before. This samsung has lovely chimes and has an easy enough dial and everything looks very well engineered. Note that you cannot switch the direction of the door opening on the washer, but you can on the dryer. I am not a fan of top door HE washers (without the agitator). The clothes came out feeling and smelling half clean. This front door washer with it's stainless steel drum makes the clothes feel and smell much cleaner. Steam is a minor let-down. I don't see the difference from steam, but I don't mind not using it either. Look for deals around Memorial Day and Thanksgiving for your best buck. Looks like any recent Samsung has extremely high quality. I hate how some reviews seem like shills but I don't shill and these machines have been such an improvement I felt compelled to come back and say so.

    Excellent Washer/Dryer

Quality: Like many people seem to be, I was between this is similar spec LG units. I decided to go with the Samsung since I own LG kitchen appliances, and when my microwave crapped out after 14 months dealing with LG was a nightmare. I am very happy with the decision so far, the Samsung washer is getting my clothes very clean, is gorgeous looking, has fantastic capacity, and apparently will be saving me in energy costs. I ran my first load when I got it and forgot to get "HE" (high-efficiency) detergent and it displayed an error code halfway through the cycle that said "SUD". I learned the hard way that regular detergent is too sudsy for these machines. The error simply made the machine pause until the suds dissipated (about 20 min), then finished the cycle. This fits my queen size comforter with room to spare. Space: I live in a condo with limited space, and the depth of this when stacked was a bit concerning since the door opening in my laundry room is 33" from the wall I wanted the units to be backed against, and I knew it needed room for the dryer vent AND the space you lose by stacking since the dryer sits back two inches behind the washer when mounted. My worries were for nothing. The 31.5" depth is mainly because of the outermost part of the door. Even with the space lost from the dryer vent hose and the stacking kit, the distance from the WALL (not the back of the machine), the top of the machine was only 30.5" out, and the front of the door was 36.5". Not bad at all. Price: I paid 599 each for the washer and dryer two weeks before Black Friday. I have never seen them go lower than this, but November seems to be the best time to buy these things. Overall: Could not be happier with the purchase.

    Easy to use

We bought this and they matching dryer. It takes longer than our old school washer did but with the extra spin the clothes come out with less water and dry quickly so a load is about the same amount of time. Lots of settings we haven't figured out how to use yet. Its quieter than our old school machine was but the machine spin could be a little loud if it were in a living area.

    Really Happy

In June 2012 I bought a new washer without an agitator. Seems this was the "new thing" on the market. Hurricane Sandy killed the new machine...and so thankful she did. I hated it. The clothes never smelled clean probably because they aren't agitated. I was was not sure about the front loader since it looked like it was not doing much when it flipped the clothes around. But each wash comes out smelling fresh and clean. And so dry that I use the dryer less. Best for me is the quick wash for my lightly soiled uniform. 25 min and I am ready to put it in the dryer. And it smells fresh and clean like a much longer wash cycle. So glad I bought this machine, and the other machine died! Also like the sanitize cycle, its 2 hours of cleaning but I know the clothes blankets, sheets are going to be so clean.

    Great Product/Bad Service

After reading all seem to be true...spin cycle can me loud for about 45 seconds, although still not as loud as my old Amana that still had an agitator. I purchased mine for 550 a piece and think that they are great. Would definitely recommend this product. I don't have anything good to say about there sales team or delivery service though. I was forced to pay an extra fifty dollars to buy all new lines or they would not install. These lines were not all used as well I asked for a different style dryer vent that was not installed either as well as the dryer cord was recycled. After calling about the dryer vent I was then rescheduled for another delivery/install which got delayed again and wasn't notified until it was supposed to be delivered. That's 3 days of time sitting around waiting on a 4 hour window.
